On September 20,2020,President Xi put forward China’s carbon peaking and carbon neutralization goals at the 75 th United Nations general debate.To achieve this goal,it is particularly important to replace traditional energy with new energy.As an important part of the national new energy strategy,lithium battery has been paid more and more attention.Under this trend,lithium battery ups will gradually replace the existing lead-acid battery UPS products and become the future development direction of the whole UPS industry.As the leading enterprise in the uninterruptible power supply industry,Shandian still relies on lead-acid battery UPS uninterruptible power supply products to occupy the market,and the business competition strategy is not clear.In order to solve the problems encountered in the development of Shandian company and get out of the dilemma of market growth,it is particularly important to formulate a clear competitive strategy for lithium battery UPS business.Based on the theory of strategic competition,this paper assists relevant management tools,adopts diversified research methods,and takes Shandian company as the research object for practical research;Combined with the external and internal competitive environment of the enterprise,comprehensively analyze and draw the final conclusion.Firstly,PEST analysis model,Porter’s five forces model and CPM matrix are used to analyze the macro environment,industry environment and competitive environment faced by Shandian power company,so as to find out opportunities and threats;Secondly,using the methods of resource analysis,capability analysis and internal value chain analysis,this paper studies the resource advantages,unique capabilities and disadvantages of Shandian company;Thirdly,SWOT matrix is used to find out two strategies suitable for the development of Shandian company,and QSPM matrix is used to finally confirm the differentiated competitive strategy suitable for the development of Shandian company;Finally,in order to ensure the implementation of differentiated competition strategy,relevant implementation plans and safeguard measures are formulated,and the balanced scorecard is used for strategic performance evaluation to ensure the steady progress of the company’s strategy.Through the research,the author believes that the competitive strategy of improving the brand pull of Shandian company,developing new products and entering the industry segment market is the most suitable for the lithium battery UPS business of Shandian company.To successfully realize the differentiation strategy,Shandian company can make efforts from six aspects: brand positioning,products,services,price,sales strategy and market publicity.This paper provides a reference scheme for the selection and implementation of lithium battery UPS competitive strategy of Shandian company,and also has a certain reference significance for other similar enterprises in UPS industry.
