Rice is one of the main food crops in China.Diseases and insect pests are one of the main reasons for the reduction in rice yield.In recent years,the increasing occurrence and harm of diseases and insect pests are causing more loss.To effectively control the harm of pests and control the use of pesticides,it is necessary to accurately monitor the density of target pests in regional paddy fields.At present,China’s rice pest monitoring mainly relies on manpower to drive out moth and catching pests by black-light.The above two methods require manual counting,yet cannot meet the requirements to monitor and alert the pests in real-time.Therefore,it is urgent to develop a rapid and accurate pest monitoring method and design a device to improve the accuracy and timeliness of rice pest monitoring forecast.The existing automatic pest monitoring methods in paddy field include photoelectric monitoring,acoustic feature monitoring,machine vision etc.These methods are mainly based on a single technology,thus they have certain limitations.To obtain better pest monitoring results,the development trend of pest monitoring in the future is to combine multiple pest detection techniques and multi-dimensional information fusion method.Therefore,to get an accurate and real-time monitoring of the density of mature pests in paddy field,based on the analysis of the principle of photoelectric and piezoelectric technology,this paper uses the photoelectric and piezoelectric technology to count the pests respectively,and fuses the counting results obtained by the two methods,and carries out the optimization test of the monitoring device of rice pests,completes the rice pest monitoring method by integrating the photoelectric and piezoelectric technology.The main research contents and conclusions are as follows:(1)According to the living habits of rice pests,the overall structure of the pest monitoring device was designed,providing a reliable test platform for rice pest monitoring in the field.The whole equipment is powered by a solar power supply system,which can provide a stable power supply for the device installed in the rice field.By using sexualpheromone decoy and wind suction trap to catch the target pests,the single trap of the target pests and the integrity of the insect body are guaranteed,so that the subsequent automatic counting of pests can be carried out.Installation and design of funnel,photoelectric sensor and piezoelectric sensor for pest counting module are carried out.Data display and upload are realized by IIC LCD 2004 character LCD and AP220-43 wireless transmission module.(2)The working principle,software and hardware system of the automatic pest counting unit using photoelectric and piezoelectric technology were tested.According to the characteristics of target pests,pest photoelectric automatic counting unit analysis,make sure U groove type photoelectric sensor and connection electric circuit,and the analysis of the piezoelectric pest automatic counting unit,determine the cantilever beam,the piezoelectric ceramic sensor and the sensor interface circuit,then the two units of sensor selection,their working principle,and their main functions are analyzed;Using Arduino UNO R3 as microcontroller,the hardware circuit of automatic pest counting module is designed.Based on the Arduino IDE platform,the data acquisition program of the automatic pest counting module is studied and compiled,and the integrated photoelectric and piezoelectric technology of the automatic pest counting module is formed,and the designed automatic pest counting module is preliminarily tested.(3)The indoor and field experiments of photoelectric and piezoelectric rice pest monitoring devices were carried out.The results showed that the accuracy of pest counting was better after the fusion of indoor and piezoelectric technologies,and the accuracy of field counting photoelectric technology was higher,but the piezoelectric and fusion technology needed to be improved.The counting system was trained under indoor conditions according to the obtained pest samples as training sets.The linear regression relationship between the counting results of photoelectric sensor x1 and piezoelectric sensor x2 and the actual number of samples y was obtained by SPSS software,the regression equation of pest fusion counting.The experimental results showed that the accuracy of photoelectric counting method for Striped Rice Borer was 94%,for Rice Leaf Roller was96%;the accuracy of piezoelectric counting method for Striped Rice Borer was 80%,for Rice Leaf Roller was 76%;the accuracy of fusion counting method for Striped Rice Borerwas 96%,for Rice Leaf Roller was 98%.It showed that the fusion of two detection techniques could effectively improve the accuracy of prediction.Finally,field experiments were carried out to complete the preliminary test of the pest counting method and monitoring device.The experimental results show that the device can preliminarily realize the automatic counting of pests in paddy fields.The accuracy of photoelectric technology is about 90%.The piezoelectric technology is greatly affected by the field environment,and the counting accuracy after fusion is only about 80%.According to the existing problems of piezoelectric technology,the improvement scheme is put forward.
