The degree of development of mechanical sowing directly affects the development process of agricultural mechanization, while the main factors affecting the level of development of mechanical sowing is seeder’s level of development. So the detection of the seeder seeding performance is particularly important. Generally, to test the performance of seeders, we need to install the seeders on the seeding machinery and conduct field trials, which is a waste of time and easily affected by the environment. Establishing seeding performance test rig is to break the shackles of time and space, for fast and accurate detection of seeding. To accommodate the detection of different seed metering device, we need to establish a stable and controllable working environment for detecting the performance of seeders, so it is necessary to establish a stable seeding performance test platform.This paper mainly through the analysis of a row detection process for performance, combined with the current status of the research, design of the control system for performance test rig and its key components, details are as follows:(1)Analyzed the present situation of research on seeding performance test bench home and abroad, found out the current problems, designed the key components of the test Bench, Including the sanding and the vibratory separator.(2) Starting from the working principle and technical index row for performance testing, analysis of the requirements of the control system, to optimize the system we put forward the uses touch screen, PLC inverter technology.(3)Modularized programming method is used to complete the design of PLC control program, mainly include the control of exhaust device drive motor, the control of the belt drive motor, the control of the vibrating separator vibration motor and the metering device drive motor. According to the test requirements, combined with the PLC control program, design the man-machine interface.(4)Using photoelectric sensor technology to test the working condition of the test bench. When there is A small amount of seed or no seed in the metering device, it will alarm automaticity and stop the operation of the system. Achieving the control process intelligent, humane.(5)Completed the basic assembly of the seeding performance test bed and its initial commissioning. The control unit are verified, and through the test, finished parameter correction and standard software on the system. Field tests showed that, the seeding performance test and control system and its key components in this paper is able to simulate the normal working environment of the seeders, meet the testing requirements of the seedmeter performance.
