Comparison Of Growth And Fruit-Bearing Habit Of Blueberry Varieties Under Greenhouse And Plastic Greenhouse Facilities

Blueberry is known as the "King of berries" and is one of the most antioxidant fruits.Demand for the blueberry market is growing and introduced through out the country.The Jizhou District of Tianjin mainly cultivates large-scale blueberry by using solar greenhouses and plastic greenhouses.However,what kind of facility conditions are more suitable is the focus of this study.Three blueberry varieties such as Bluecrop,Berkeley,and Brigitta are used as samples.The changes of blueberry phenology,environmental temperature and humidity,main branch length,main branch diameter,new shoot length,leaf-fruit ratio,and leaf area per plant;and the fruit-bearing of the number of mother branches,the length of mother branches,the number of fruits per plant,the yield per plant,etc.;and fruit shape index,fruit hardness,fruit stalk length,fruit weight,soluble sugar,titratable acid,VC content,total phenols,flavonoids,anthocyanins and other fruit quality differences are analyzed under the conditions of the two facilities.The growth,development,yield,and output of different blueberry varieties in different facilities were compared by using significance,comprehensive membership functions,correlation,principal components,and grey correlation analysis.The results show:1.In the plastic greenhouse,the phenological period of three species such as Lanfeng,Berkeley and Brigita was 40-48 days later than that in the greenhouse.The blueberry fruits in the greenhouse mature on April 27,and the greenhouse matures in early June.The average temperature of the greenhouse environment was 10℃ higher than that of a plastic greenhouse,and the average relative humidity was lower than that of the greenhouse by 17%.2.Berkeley,Brigitta’s main branch length,main branch diameter,shoot length,leaf-fruit ratio,leaf area,and the number of female branches,the length of the mother branch,and the yield per plant in the greenhouse are all higher than those in the greenhouse.Comprehensive analysis shows that Berkeley and Brigita grow best in the greenhouse,and Brigita grows best in the plastic greenhouse.5.The Berkeley and Brigitta fruits in the greenhouse had higher hardness,longer handle,and higher fruit weight than the plastic greenhouse.Comprehensive analysis showed that Berkeley and Brigitta have better results in greenhouses and plastic greenhouses.4.The soluble sugar content and sugar acid ratio of Berkeley and Brigitta fruits in the greenhouse were higher than that of the greenhouse.The titratable acid content of Brigitta was higher than that of the plastic greenhouse,and the vitamin C,soluble solids,flavonoids,and anthocyanidin of the three blueberry varieties were higher than plastic greenhouse.The total phenolic content of Berkeley was higher than that of plastic greenhouses.Comprehensive analysis showed that the inner quality of Brigita in the greenhouse was the best;Berkeley had the best quality in the greenhouse.5.The core evaluation indicators of the 8 fruit quality indicators were sugar-acid ratio,fruit weight and fruit hardness.Core quality indicators and yield analysis results showed that Berkeley had the best overall quality and highest yield in greenhouses and plastic greenhouses.6.Correlation analysis showed that the ratio of leaf to fruit was negatively correlated with the yield,and the single fruit weight,fruit firmness,number of fruit per plant,the length of the resulting parent branch,and the number of resulting mothers were highly positively correlated with the yield,main branch length,main branch diameter and the mother branch length with fruit core quality showed a significant positive correlation.The correlation between the length of the parent branch and the yield and quality were the highest in all indexes,followed by the length of the main branch and the diameter of main branch.7.The results of cost accounting showed that the highest greenhouse benefit was Berkeley,with an annual output value of 134016.46 yuan per mu,followed by Lanfeng and Brigita.The annual output value per mu is 116897.86 yuan and 94465.1 yuan respectively,and the highest benefit was in Berkeley.The annual output value per mu was up to 114133.82 yuan;followed by Lanfeng and Brigita.The annual output value per mu is 73711.28 yuan,43395.41 yuan.8.In summary,in the greenhouse,the best growth results and external quality were Berkeley,and the best intrinsic quality was Brigita.In plastic greenhouses,Berkeley had the best result characteristics and internal and external qualities.The best growth characteristics were Brigitta.The highest output and output were Berkeley.
