Bee bread is a kind of pure natural product formed by worker bees,which collected pollen and unload the pollen on the basket into the nest,then bite and spit out honey to moisten the pollen through worker bees.It has a wide prospect of development and application.On the basic of the natural bee bread producer developed in the laboratory,the plank for bee pollen falling off was improved according to honeybee’s bread storage behavior.A second generation devices for bee bread collecting which are convenient to carry,low in manufacturing cost and simple in operation are invented.In view of Apis mellifera production mode,the feeding and management technologies for the production of natural bread were modified.Up to the present the series of improvements and inventions have achieved good production results and improved the storage efficiency of natural bee bread.With bee pollen as the control group,the biological activities of natural natural bee bread such as lowering blood lipid,anti-oxidation and regulating immunity were systematically studied.At the same time,the regulation mechanism of natural bee bread on lipid metabolism was explored.The results showed that both bee pollen and natural bee bread had the effects of lowering blood lipid and inhibiting the formation of nonalcoholic fatty liver,but low dose bee bread could reduce the contents of triglyceride(TG),total cholesterol(TC)and low density lipoprotein(LDL)in the blood of rats with hyperlipidemia.On the contrary,natural bee bread also could increase the contents of high density lipoprotein(HDL)in the blood of rats with hyperlipidemia,while the same dose bee pollen could only reduce the content of TG and TC.In addition,natural bee bread can increase the levels of interleukin(IL-6)and tumor necrosis factor alpha(TNF-α)in the blood of rats.Therefore,natural bee bread is advantage of bee pollen in reducing blood lipid and regulating immune factors.After the mices were intervented by low dose bee bread which thymic organ hyperplasia.The number of hemolytic plaque of mice in middle dose bee bread group is significantly higher than that of three bee pollen groups,almost twice of the same dose.Therefore,the effect of bee bread on regulating immunity is better than bee pollen.Comparing of three doses of bee bread groups,superoxide dismutase content in high dose bee pollen group increased significantly in the blood of rats,indicating that bee pollen has antioxidant activity.Mechanism of suppression the fatty liver formation may be that bee bread can repressive the activities of fat acid synthase(FAS)and Acetyl Co A dehydrogenase(ACC)in the liver of hyperlipidemic rats.Furthermore,RT-q PCR was used to verify that bee bread could inhibit the expression levels of FAS and ACC genes.16S rDNA sequencing was used to study the affection of natural bee bread on gut microbial diversity in hyperlipidemia rats.The results showed that natural bee bread could promote the abundance of akkermansia,a beneficial bacterium in the gut of hyperlipidemia rats,and lactobacilli in the intestine of normal mice.These two probiotics played an active role in maintaining the health of the gut and the host.The results of this study provide technical support for the production and development of natural bee bread.
