Radish is an important vegetable in China,which has high nutritional and health value.Excessive application of chemical fertilizer during cultivation of radish leads to soil fertility losses,microbial ecological imbalance and the decline of radish quality.In recent years,although many new fertilizers have been appeared,their application effect on radish are still not unclear.In this experiment,a radish variety’weixianqing’was used as the test material,and conventional base fertilizer(4000 kg/667m2 decomposed farmyard manure)was used as the control.Eight treatments were set as follows:T1:conventional base fertilizer+180kg/667m2polymorphic bacterial fertilizer;T2:conventional base fertilizer+5kg/667m2PGPR multifunctional microbial inoculum;T3:conventional base fertilizer+15kg/667m2 active yeast extract;T4:conventional base fertilizer+5L/667m2 PGPR growth promotion microbial inoculum;T5:conventional base fertilizer+120kg/667m2 decomposed soybean meal;T6:conventional base fertilizer+100kg/667m2 cooked and decomposed soybean;T7:conventional base fertilizer+45kg/667m2 earthworm manure;T8:conventional base fertilizer+65kg/667m2compound fertilizer(N:P2O5:K2O=15:15:15).The fertilizers of each treatment were applied before sowing,and top dressing was not applied during the growth of radish.This study was designed to explore the effects of different fertilizers on radish by comparing the growth status,yield,quality and soil environment.The aim is to provide theoretical basis for making a fertilization plan that can replace chemical fertilizers and improve radish quality.The main results are as follows:1.All the eight treatments increased the number of bacteria,fungi,actinomycetes,the content of available nitrogen,phosphorus,potassium,and the activities of urease and neutral phosphatase in the soil of radish root zone.Among them,T1,T6 and T7 had better effects.The polyphenol oxidase activity of T8 treatment in Jinan experimental field was 4.00%lower than that of CK,while the catalase and polyphenol oxidase activity of T8 treatment in Weifang experimental field were 6.20%and 9.68%lower than that of CK,respectively.2.All treatments increased the total root length,overground root length and root diameter of radish.T2,T5 and T6 treatments had better promotion effects on the growth of radish.The total root lengths of T2,T5 and T6 treatments were increased by 16.66%,13.42%,24.76%in Jinan,and 13.30%,14.14%,14.39%in Weifang.3.The application of bio-organic fertilizer,microbial fertilizer,decomposed bean fertilizer,earthworm manure,and compound fertilizer can improve the single root weight and yield of radish in varying degrees.T3 and T5 treatments had better effects,while the effects were less obvious in T4 and T7 treatments.4.The contents of soluble sugar,soluble protein,cellulose and Vc in radish were increased by the eight of fertilizers.T1,T6 and T7 treatments had better effects.The application of quick acting chemical fertilizer and decomposed soybean meal fertilizer increased the nitrate content of radish.5.T1,T3,T6 and T7 treatments can increase the flavor compounds such as methyl mercaptan,dimethyl disulfide and isothiocyanate in radish,and improve the flavor quality.
