| The safety of animal-derived food is the basic duty of veterinarians.Strengthening the supervision of the whole process from breeding to the market is of great significance for reducing the safety risks of animal-derived food and ensuring the health of the people.As the main input of breeding and production,feed has been included in the key supervision category of animal-derived food safety by the world.Enhancing feed quality and safety supervision is essential for promoting healthy animal breeding,ensuring the quality and safety of animal-derived food and human health.This paper continuously monitors the three commonly used feed ingredients(corn,soybean meal,and DDGS)and mycotoxin contamination of the feed in a leading enterprise from 2017 to 2018,and the production performance of the feed of the factory after application in laying hens did an evaluation.The results show that:1.Compared with 2017,the mycotoxin pollution rate of corn,soybean meal,DDGS and feed in 2018 decreased respectively: 31.12%,29.55%,19.17%,and 2.19%.The moisture content and mycotoxin contamination rate of feed ingredients and feed are seasonal,and the mycotoxin contamination rate also increases in seasons with high water content.2.Compared with 2017,in 2018 the laying rate of laying hens increased by 0.72%,and there was a significant difference(P=0.002);the death rate of laying hens has dropped by 0.23%,but there is no significant difference(P=0.088);the feed-to-egg ratio of laying hens dropped by 0.05.On the whole,the production performance of laying hens in 2018 was slightly better than that of 2017,but compared with the standard,the production performance of laying hens in two years did not reach the target results.It shows that although the mycotoxin indicators in the feed meet the national standards,the mycotoxin still affects the production performance of laying hens within the scope of the standard.Enterprises should take measures to strictly prevent and control mold contamination.3.Compared with 2017,the mycotoxin contamination rate of feed in the first three quarters of 2018 decreased respectively: 5.57%,6.00%,0.22%,and the egg production rate increased by 0.87%,1.53%,0.63%,and the rate of dead scouring of laying hens decreased: 0.07%,0.11%,0.07%,and the feed-to-egg ratio decreased: 0.06,0.07,0.06.In the fourth quarter of 2018,the mycotoxin contamination rate of feed increased by 0.65%.The chicken death rate increased by 0.02%,the egg production rate decreased by 0.14%,and the feed-to-egg ratio increased by 0.01.This shows that the production performance of laying hens can be improved by reducing the contamination rate of mycotoxins in feed ingredients and feed. |
