Effects Of Different Topping Agents On Growth,yield And Quality Of Cotton

In order to improve the application effect of chemical topping agent,to screen the best spraying time of cotton topping agent in Alar Reclamation Area,In 2019,select two major cotton varieties in southern Xinjiang,Xinluzhong No.37 and Xinluzhong No.70,and set no topping(T0),artificial topping on July 1(T1,CK),spraying on July 1(T2),spraying on July 6(T3),spraying on July 11(T4)and July 16 Spray(T5)6 treatments,spray the plasticizer three times on June 18 th,28th and July 8th before spraying the topping agent.Measure and compare changes in plant type,yield and cotton fiber quality one day before each application.In 2020,three cotton varieties,namely Xinluzhong No.37,Xinluzhong No.70 and Xinluzhong No.82,promoted in southern Xinjiang will be selected,and three types of treatments including artificial topping(CK),fluorobenzamide and Cuhuawang topping agent will be set up.The two-factor split zone design is adopted,and the main zone is treated with 2 topping agents(1: diflubenzamide compounded with condensed amine,2: sprayed with the combination of the plasticizer and the topping agent)and artificial topping(CK),the sub-area contains 3 cotton varieties,repeated 3 times.The test results in 2019 showed that: 1.The plant height and node number of cotton plants sprayed with chemical topping agents were significantly lower than that under the treatment without topping,and the yield was basically the same as that under the artificial topping treatment;2.The cotton varieties were different,so The best spraying time will be different;3.The best spraying time of Xinluzhong No.37 and Xinluzhong No.70 are July 11 and July 1,respectively.At this time,spraying chemical topping agent can affect the plants The growth height is effectively controlled and the maximum economic benefits can be obtained.In 2020,the test results: 1.Cuhuawang topping agentr has a good molding effect;2.The comparison between the main treatments: the chlorophyll content of each part under the artificial topping treatment is lower than that under the chemical topping treatment Chlorophyll content,the upper leaf inclination angle of cotton plant is larger than that of cotton plant under chemical treatment,and the leaf area is smaller than that of cotton plant under chemical topping treatment.The light transmittance is basically the same as that of cotton plant under chemical topping treatment;compare the last chlorophyll content between varieties The measurement is worthy: the chlorophyll content of the upper,middle and lower leaves of the Xinluzhong No.82 cotton plant is greater than the other two varieties,and the chlorophyll content of the middle and lower leaves of the Xinluzhong No.37 cotton plant is greater than that of the Xinluzhong No.70.3.Yield comparison between main treatments: the yield of seed cotton of Xinluzhong No.70 under the treatment of Cuhuawang topping agent was the highest than other varieties,and the yield of seed cotton of the other two varieties of cotton under the treatment of flubenzamide was the highest;Xinluzhong No.37 The lint score was the highest under the treatment of flubenectamine,the lint score of the other two varieties of cotton was the highest under the treatment of Cuhuawang topping agent,and the lint score of the three varieties under the artificial topping treatment was the lowest;comparison between varieties:Xinluzhong No.82 seed cotton The yield is the highest,Xinluzhong No.37 lint yield is the highest;4.Comparing the quality indicators under the main treatments,the upper half of the cotton fiber under the treatment of flubenzamide has the best length and breaking strength,micronaire and elongation.The worst;the cotton fiber under the treatment of Cuhuawang topping agent has the best length uniformity and yellowness,and the worst specific strength;the micronaire and elongation of the cotton fiber under the artificial topping treatment are the best,and the upper half is both long and length The neatness and yellowness are the worst.Variety comparison: Xinluzhong No.82 is the best overall in terms of six quality indicators,Xinluzhong No.37 is the overall second,and Xinluzhong No.70 is the worst overall.In conclusion,the number of cotton nodes under chemical topping was more than that under manual topping;The best spraying time depends on the variety;Cotton population could adjust their own characters to adapt to the environment under both artificial topping and chemical topping treatments,and the two chemical topping agents had different degrees of improvement on cotton yield compared with artificial topping;All of them promoted the different indexes of cotton fiber quality,which was slightly better than that of artificial topping.
