In 2014 and 2015,No.1 central document explicitly put forward "to strengthen the construction of agricultural aviation".In 2016,the "action plan for zero growth of pesticide use by 2020" issued by the Ministry of agriculture requires the elimination of traditional spraying tools and the promotion of UAV spraying technology according to local conditions. In 2019,the government of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region will promulgate the subsidy policy for plant protection UAV on the basis of national agricultural machinery subsidies, further promote the popularization and application of UAV application technology in the field of agricultural production, and help the green development of agriculture.Compared with the traditional spraying technology,UAV spraying technology has the advantages of not limited by the terrain and crop height, high efficiency and high pesticide utilization rate. This technology can effectively alleviate the labor shortage caused by the acceleration of urbanization and the aging of rural labor force, and also reduce the pesticide poisoning caused by the extensive spraying of traditional spraying technology Environmental pollution caused by pesticides and decline in the quality of agricultural products.Relevant data show that about 1 / 3 of the 2325200 Mu cotton fields planted in Alar City of the first division in 2019 use UAV spraying technology to complete the spraying operation, and the adoption rate of this technology by farmers is low.Compared with the traditional cotton spraying technology and UAV spraying technology, which is more cost-effective? What factors restrict cotton farmers to adopt this technology? Based on this, this paper uses the micro survey data of cotton farmers in Alar cotton area of the first division, based on Farmers’ behavior theory, technology diffusion theory and Pigou tax theory, from three aspects of cost input, environmental cost and cotton planting income, makes a quantitative accounting of the cost and income of different application technologies in the study area The factors influencing cotton farmers’ adoption of UAV application technology were analyzed by logistic regression model(1)In 2019,the economic cost per mu of UAV application technology in Alar City is 152.493 yuan, the average environmental cost per mu is 12.034 yuan, and the average cotton income per mu is 2297.506 yuan.Compared with the other three kinds of application technology in the study area,UAV application technology has obvious advantages in saving application cost, protecting environment and increasing income.(2)The results show that the age of cotton farmers, the number of family labor force, whether they have agricultural tractors and the adoption behavior of UAV spraying technology have a negative impact. The education level of cotton farmers, whether they are part-time workers, cotton planting area, the frequency of participating in agricultural training, the number of workers, the number of workers, the number of workers, the number of workers, the number of workers, the number of workers, the number of workers, the number of workers, the The five factors of UAV application technology use around have a significant positive impact on cotton farmers’ UAV application technology adoption behavior.(3)To a certain extent, the adoption rate of UAV application technology can be improved by improving the UAV application technology promotion system, guiding the orderly transfer of land management rights, guiding cotton farmers to orderly carry out part-time business activities, and strengthening the education and training of cotton farmers.
