| With the development of animal husbandry and agricultural structure adjustment,the growing area of alfalfa has expanded in recent years owing to the ever-increasing demand in dairy industry.Silage-making for alfalfa is relatively easy and fast,which may overcome the adverse effects on forage processing under monsoon climate and improve the alfalfa quality and economic benefits.In this study,alfalfa was selected as raw material that ensiled with eight biological additives.There are eight treatment groups: Treatment group I(Bora),treatment group II(Jinqiao),treatment group III(qingchubang),treatment group IV(qingchubao),treatment group V(shaoman),treatment group VI(taiwanyaxin),treatment group VII(xinlaiwang),treatment group VIII(zhuanglumei),and control.The silage quality and aerobic stability was determined after 40 days.Membership function method was used to evaluate the effects of different biological additives on alfalfa silage quality and aerobic stability.The results showed that:The fermentation quality and nutritional compositions of silage have been improved by certain degrees when the biological additives were added.Biological additives had significant effects on silage p H,lactic acid(LA),acetic acid(AA)and butyric acid(P<0.05)but had no effects on ammonia nitrogen /Total nitrogen(AN/TN)content(P>0.05).In addition,significant effects were observed on the parameters such as dry matter(DM),acid detergent fiber(ADF),neutral detergent fiber(NDF),soluble carbohydrate(WSC),crude fat(EE),crude ash(Ash),and relative feed value(RFV)(P<0.05),and no effects on observed on crude protein(CP)content and total digestible nutrients(TDN)(P>0.05).The effect of eight biological additives on the aerobic stability of alfalfa silage was investigated.Among the eight additives,Xinlaiwang had the best aerobic stability,and then is Taiwan Yaxin,Silage State,and Zhuanglemei.Jin Qiao is the least.It is concluded that the three optimal additives are Jinqiao,Xinlaiwang and Bora Lilai,followed by Silage Bang,Silage Bao,Chauman and Taiwan Yaxin,and Zhuang Lemei is slightly worse through membership function analysis and comprehensive value evaluation.. |
