Corn is an important food crop in China,and the seale of corn planting in China is large,the scope of planting is wide and the yield is high.The scale and yield of corn planting in China is second only to wheat,and it is also among the top in foreign countries.As an important food crop,corn not only has high nutritional value,but also can be used as an important raw material,which has great application in industry,aquaculture and so on.However,domestic corn production is faced with the problem of low mechanization level,especially in maize harvest.In recent years,domestic corn harvest Mechanization level has been improved quickly,there are a lot of research and development of corn harvester business,production models are more,but mostly for the plain area operation,and poor adaptability to the hilly area of corn harvest.In order to solve the difficulty and inefficiency of maize harvesting in hilly areas and promote the mechanization of maize harvesting,it is necessary to design a maize harvesting machine with strong adaptability to hilly areas.In this paper,a small crawler corn harvester is designed.The corn harvester can adapt to the working environment of mountainous hills with complex environment and bad conditions,and its working performance is reliable.The integrated operation of corn peeling and corn collecting spike improves the working efficiency,reduces the labor intensity and saves the working cost.The contents of the study are as follows:1.Overall design of small crawler corn harvester on hillside.Considering the working environment in hilly area,the structure of corn harvester is suitable and the performance of corn harvester is reliable,according to the design requirements of corn harvester,the whole structure of small crawler corn harvester in hillside is designed,including:track chassis,cutting table,straw crushing device,peeling device,granary,engine,operating table,etc.,to determine the working principle of the harvester,so that the harvester in the process of com picking,peeling,ear gathering operation,at the same time to achieve corn straw crushing and returning to the field.2.Design and power calculation of small crawler corn harvester on hillside.According to the overall design scheme of corn harvester,the track chassis,cutting table,straw crushing device,peeling device and key device of granary of corn harvester are structured,and its working principle is briefly described,and the power consumption of corn harvester is analyzed and calculated,and engine selection is carried out.3.Performance analysis of small crawler corn harvester on hillside.First,the passability of the harvester is studied from the aspects of minimum off-ground clearance,climbing ability and steering ability;then,the cross-country performance of the harvester is analyzed,and the ability of the harvester to overcome gullies and steps is analyzed;finally,the slope stability analysis of the harvester is studied to verify the ability of the harvester to resist overturning and sliding.The slope performance of the harvester is guaranteed by theoretical analysis and calculation.4.Finite element analysis of small crawler corn harvester frame and picking board on hillside.A brief introduction of the purpose and method of the finite element analysis is given.Then the finite element analysis of the frame and the picking board is carried out by using the ANSYS software,respectively.From the three aspects of equivalent elastic strain,equal effect force and total deformation,it is verified that the frame and the picking board meet the requirements of use.5.Pilot trial and analysis of small crawler corn harvester on hillside.In cooperation with Jiangsu Yunma Agricultural Machinery Manufacturing Co.,Ltd.,the prototype was manufactured and the field harvest experiment was carried out to test whether it could effectively complete the one-time operation of corn picking,peeling,gathering cymbidium and corn straw crushing and returning to the field,and harvest effect of corn harvester was verified by from the aspects of cymbidium picking loss rate,bract leaf stripping rate,stubble height and straw crushing length.The small crawler corn harvester designed by this project can effectively solve the problems existing in corn harvesting in hillside land,improve the quality and efficiency of corn harvesting in hillside land,reduce the working intensity of farmers,meet the needs of agricultural mechanization in hillside land,save energy and reduce consumption,and save cost and increase efficiency.
