Objective:To realize the current status of HP infection in the population,through a questionnaire survey of Helicobacter pylori(Helicobacter Pylori,HP)infection in the physical examination crowd of Haikou City.To provide targeted health management suggestions and a comprehensive prevention strategy for HP infection with reference basis by investigating the influencing factors of HP infection.Methods:Using cross-sectional research methods,during the period from September 2018 to August 2019,the questionnaire survey was conducted on the population undergoing a physical examination crowd from a public health examination center in a tertiary referral center in Haikou City.It was conducted in four aspects:basic information,lifestyle,dietary habits,and disease status.Frequency distribution and percentage are used to describe status of HP infection.Influencing factors are firstly chi-squared based on the nature of the data.Statistically significant factors are screened based on the related factors derived from the chi-squared test.Logistic regression analysis is used to calculate the OR value and its95%confidence interval,adjust the potential confounding factors,look for risk factors and protective factors of HP infection.P<0.05 was considered statistically significant.Results:The results showed that among the 440 health checkup patients,190patients were HP infected,and the HP infection rate was 43.2%.(1)HP infection has statistically significant(P<0.05)variables in single factor analysis:age,blood type,ethnicity,living area per household,eating out or ordering take-out,drinking tap water directly,drinking,smoking,drinking yogurt,eating pickled products,eating Qingbuliang,eating dregs vinegar,eating raw seafood,drinking coffee,eating barbecue and performing gastroscopy.(2)Non-conditional Logistic regression was performed according to the results obtained from the univariate analysis:ages from 18 to 30 were used as a control,and a risk factor was ages from 31 to 40(OR=3.362,95%CI(1.262~8.956));bloody type A was used as a control,and blood type AB was a risk factor(OR=2.584,95%CI(1.480~4.512));taking family members’living area≧30m~2as a control,and a risk factor was<30m~2(OR=2.090,95%CI(1.325~3.294));eating out(ordering take-out)was used as a control,and a risk factor was eating out(ordering take-out)≦3 times per week(OR=2.791,95%CI(1.271~6.127));taking gastroscopy as a control,and a risk factor was not performing gastroscopy(OR=1.625,95%CI(1.007~2.625));taking drinking tap water as a control,protective factors were drinking tap water occasionally(OR=0.424,95%CI(0.190~0.943)),and never drinking tap water(OR=0.526,95%CI(0.276~0.980));never taking dairy products like yogurt as a control,and and a protective factor was drinking yogurt and other milk products≦3times/week(OR=0.376,95%CI(0.173~0.817)).Conclusions:The results of the investigation on the influencing factors of HP infection in 440 health checkup patients from a tertiary referral center in Haikou showed that:(1)The results showed that the HP infection rate in this coastal area was 43.2%,and was higher than some inland areas.Reducing HP infections and increasing the eradication rate of HP is important,so it is necessary to strengthen the health management in this area and improve health awareness.(2)The influencing factors of HP infection are:age,blood type,ethnicity,per capita living area of the family,dining out(ordering take-out),drinking tap water,drinking,smoking,eating yogurt,eating pickled foods,eating Qingbuliang,eating dregs vinegar,eating raw seafood,drinking coffee,eating barbecue and taking gastroscopy.According to these factors,corresponding health management should be carried out,for example,taking regular physical examination,reducing the frequency of eating out,and paying attention to daily diet to avoid having irritating food.(3)In the investigation of HP conditional non-conditional logistic regression analysis,age,blood type,per capita living area of the family,eating out(ordering take-out)and not performing gastroscopy are risk factors for HP infection;occasionally drinking tap water,never drinking tap water and having yogurt are protective factors for HP infection.Health education should be adopted to let the crowd to avoid high-risk behaviors and establish correct health concepts.
