Efficacy Observation Of Clearing Heat,cooling Blood And Questing Stasis Prescription Combined With Western Medicine In The Treatment Of Systemic Lupus Erythematosus

Objective: This study is aims to explore the clinical efficacy of Clearing heat,cooling blood and questing stasis prescription in the treatment of systemic lupus erythematosus,which tries to provide a reference for the treatment of SLE with integrated traditional Chinese and western medicine.Methods: Fifty-four patients who met the diagnosis of SLE and were in the outpatient and inpatient treatment at the Department of Rheumatology of the First Affiliated Hospital of Guangxi University of Chinese medicine between January 1,2019 and August 30,2020,and were in the mild and moderate active stage of the disease,and the Chinese medicine type was recognized as Heat toxicity and blood stasis syndrome.The patients were randomly divided into two groups,27 in each group.The control group was treated with prednisone acetate tablets(0.5mg/kg daily for 4 weeks,then 10% of the original dose was reduced every 1-2 weeks)and immunosuppressive agents(Methotrexate 10 mg once weekly and Hydroxychloroquine sulfate 0.2g twice daily).In the treatment group,on this basis,they were treated with Clearing heat,cooling blood and questing stasis prescription and the course was 2 months,and the relevant indicators were observed and recorded in detail.Mainly,the blood routine,erythrocyte sedimentation rate,C-reactive protein,complement C3,complement C4,double stranded DNA antibody,immunoglobulins,liver function,kidney function,SLEDAI score and Tradictional Chinese Medicine syndrome score before and after treatment in the two groups were evaluated,as well as the occurrence of adverse effects.Results:(1)The effective rate of the two groups: 74.07% in the control group,88.88% in the treatment group,the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05).(2)The symptoms of dysphoria,aphthous ulcer,dry mouth,facial erythema and hand erythema in the two groups were improved compared with those before treatment(P < 0.05 or P < 0.01),and the improvement in the treatment group was better than that in the control group(P < 0.05);joint pain was improved compared with that before treatment(P < 0.05),but there was no statistical significance between the two groups after treatment(P > 0.05).(3)SLEDAI scores of the two groups were lower than before treatment,and the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.01),and the improvement of the treatment group was better than that of the control group(P < 0.05).(4)The ESR and CRP inflammatory indexes of the two groups were significantly lower than before(P < 0.01 or P < 0.05),but there was no significant difference in CRP between the two groups after treatment(P > 0.05).(5)The immune indexes of the two groups were improved(P < 0.01),and after treatment,the treatment group was better than that of the control group(P < 0.05).There was no significant difference in C4,Ig A and Ig G between the two groups before and after treatment(P > 0.05).(6)Comparison of the incidence of adverse events between the two groups:the incidence of adverse reactions in the treatment group was lower than that in the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P <0.05).Conclusions: Clearing heat,cooling blood and questing stasis prescription combined with Glucocorticoid,Hydroxychloroquine and Methotrexate in the treatment of SLE with heat toxin and blood stasis syndrome is better than western medicine alone.It can relieve the symptoms of SLE,improve the laboratory indexes,reduce the disease activity and reduce the incidence of adverse reactions.
