| Objective:To analyze the status quo, influencing factors and correlation of self-efficacy,coping style and quality of life of patients with DVT,so as to provide theoretical basis for improving the quality of life of patients.Method:This study is a correlation studied in a non-experimental study.By means of convenient sampling,216 patients who had completed standard thrombolytic and anticoagulant therapy in the vascular surgery department of two grade a hospitals in shandong province for one month were selected for questionnaire survey. The research tools include social demographic characteristics questionnaire,General Self-efficacy Scale,Medical Coping Modes Questionnaire,VEnous INsufficiency Epidemiological and Economic Study-Quality of Life/Symptoms.All survey data were analyzed by SPSS 17.0 software.Frequency and percentage were used to describe the group characteristics of DVT patients;mean and standard deviation were used to describe the self-efficacy,coping style and quality of life of DVT patients;t-test and one-way ANOVA were used to explore the differences in group characteristics of self-efficacy,coping style and quality of life of DVT patients;Pearson correlation analysis was used to study the correlation among self-efficacy,coping style and quality of life in patients with DVT.Results:(1)In this study, the general self-efficacy of patients with deep vein thrombosis of the lower extremity were at a medium level. The age, marital status, education level, labor intensity, residence, payment method of medical expenses, monthly income of family, time of illness and knowledge of illness of different patients had significant influence on their self-efficacy(P<0.05).(2)Patients with deep vein thrombosis of the lower extremities usually adopt avoidance and submission.Age,marital status, education level, labor intensity, residence, payment method of medical expenses, monthly family income, understanding of disease knowledge and so on were significantly different among the three coping styles of patients with DVT(P<0.05);However,the time of illness had significant effect on the avoidance and yield coping style of patients with DVT(P<0.05).(3)The results showed that age, marital status, education level, labor intensity, residence, payment method of medical expenses, monthly family income, time of illness, knowledge of disease, etc.had significant influence on the quality of life of patients with DVT(P<0.05).(4)Pearson correlation analysis showed that there was a significant positive correlation between self-efficacy,coping style and quality of life, and a significant negative correlation between self-efficacy,avoidance or surrender coping style and quality of life.Conclusion:(1)The general self-efficacy of patients with DVT in the lower extremity was moderate.(2)Patients with DVT of lower extremities usually adopt avoidance and submission.(3)In this study, the average score of quality of life of lower extremity DVT patients was(50.00±5.92).Compared with the results of domestic research on lower extremity DVT patients using the same research tools, the difference was small.(4)In this study, patients’ self-efficacy,face-to-face coping style and quality of life were significantly positively correlated;self-efficacy,avoidance and submission coping style and quality of life were significantly negatively correlated. This shows that patients with D VT can improve their quality of life by improving their self-efficacy and choosing coping styles. |
