Clinical Observation Of Jiawei Buyang Huanwu Decoction In The Treatment Of Post-stroke Depression With Qi Deficiency And Blood Stasis

Objective:To study the clinical value of modified Buyang Huanwu decoction in the treatment of post-stroke depression(PSD)with deficiency of qi and blood stasis.By comparing the changes of various indicators before and after treatment and observing the occurrence of adverse reactions,the mechanism of action was also explored,so as to provide a new safe and effectiive therapeutic idea for the clinical treatment of post-stroke depression.Methods:74 patients with PSD were randomly divided into the experimental group and the control group,with 37 cases in each group.The two groups were treated with conventional medicine and rehabilitation therapy.The experimental group was treated with modified Buyang Huanwu decoction and cognitive behavioral therapy on the basis of routine treatment for 6 weeks.The control group was treated with cognitive behavioral therapy on the basis of routine treatment for 6 weeks.Two groups of patients were evaluated before treatment,2 weeks after treaatment,4 weeks after treatment,and 6 weeks after Treaatment.The Hamilton Depression Scale(HAMD-17)was used to evaluate the degree of depression.Stroke specific quality of life scale(SS-QOL)was used to evaluate patients’ quality of life.TCM syndromes scale score was used to evaluate the TCM syndromes of patients.The date were analyzed by SPSS20.0 software tool.Result:1.After 2 weeks of treatment,in the HAMD-17 score,Stroke specific quality of life scale,the two groups were statistically significant compared with the same group before treatment(P<0.05),and there was significant difference between the two groups(P < 0.05).In the TCM syndromes scale score,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05)compared with the control group,and there was no significant difference the control groups(P > 0.05),there was statistically significant difference between the two groups(P<0.05).2.After 4 weeks of treatment,in the HAMD-17 score,Stroke specific quality of life scale,the two groups were statistically significant compared with the same group after 2 weeks treatment(P<0.05),and there was significant difference between the two groups(P<0.05).In the TCM syndromes scale score,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05)compared with the control group,and there was no significant difference the control groups(P > 0.05),there was statistically significant difference between the two groups(P<0.05).3.After 6 weeks of treatment,in the HAMD-17 score,Stroke specific quality of life scale,the TCM syndromes scale score,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05)compared with the control group,and there was no significant difference the control groups(P>0.05),there was statistically significant difference between the two groups(P<0.05).Conclusion:The modified Buyang Huanwu decoction and psychotherapy can obviously relieve the depressive symptoms of PSD patients,improve the qi deficiency symptoms and the patient’ quality of life.Also the clinical efficacy is better than the simple psychotherapy.It has certain clinical application value.
