Objective:To investigate the predictive value of triglyceride-glucose index(TYG)on the occurrence of nosocomial adverse cardiovascular events after emergency percutaneous coronary intervention in patients with acute non-ST-elevation myocardial infarction. Methods: A total of 150 patients with acute non-ST-elevation myocardial infarction(NSTEMI)who underwent emergency percutaneous coronary intervention in the Department of Cardiology,Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region People’s Hospital from June 2019 to June 2020 were enrolled in this study. After collecting data and calculating TYG index,ROC curve was used to analyze the predictive value of TYG index for major adverse cardiovascular events in hospitals after emergency percutaneous coronary intervention in NSTEMI patients. Then, the optimal cut-off value was selected according to the ROC curve, and the differences between the two groups were compared according to the optimal cut-off value.Spearman rank correlation was used to analyze the correlation between common adverse cardiovascular prognostic factors.Logistic regression analysis of statistically significant independent variables was used to investigate the predictors of adverse in-hospital cardiovascular events after emergency percutaneous coronary intervention in patients with NSTEMI.Results: According to ROC curve analysis, the area under the TYG index to predict the occurrence of in-hospital MACE in NSTEMI patients after emergency PCI was 0.725(95%CI: 0.636--0.815,P<0.05).When the cut-off value of TYG index was 6.041,the prediction efficiency was the highest, the sensitivity was 70.6%,and the specificity was 67.1%.The comparison of basic data between the high TYG index group and the low TYG index group showed that the high TYG index group had higher levels of multi-vessel disease,BMI,diabetes, dyslipidemia and hypertension than the low TYG index group(P<0.05)..Comparison of laboratory results between the two groups showed that the troponin T,BNP(brain natriuretic peptide)and Gensini scores of patients in the high TYG index group were higher than those in the low TYG index group(P<0.05).The incidence of in-hospital MACE in NSTEMI patients with high TYG index group was higher than that in patients with low TYG index group(P<0.05).Finally,Logistic multivariate regression analysis showed that TYG,BNP,and Gensini were all independent predictors of hospital MACE in NSTEMI patients after emergency PCI.TYG index was positively correlated with Gensini,BNP and multi-vessel lesions(P<0.05).Conclusion:TYG index is an independent predictor of major adverse cardiovascular events in hospital after emergency percutaneous coronary intervention in patients with NSTEMI.When the TYG index is greater than or equal to 6.041,it has a certain predictive value for the occurrence of major adverse cardiovascular events in NSTEMI patients after emergency percutaneous coronary intervention.
