| The World Health Organization points out that cervical cancer is the second most common cancer among women,with a higher proportion in developing countries.A large number of medical studies have shown that continuous infection with high-risk human papilloma virus(HPV)is an important cause of cervical cancer,and regular screening and vaccination of HPV vaccine and other medical interventions can effectively prevent or treat HPV infection,so as to reduce the incidence of cervical cancer.At present,HPV vaccine is voluntary vaccination and self-funded vaccination in China.Although some regions have begun to implement free HPV vaccination and cervical cancer screening programs for school-age female,but the scope is too small,so the promotion of HPV vaccine and other related medical interventions is still needed the help of appropriate communication methods.With the launch of nine-valent HPV vaccine in China,people’s attention and discussion on HPV vaccine are gradually increasing.In addition to the reports from traditional media,people can also obtain HPV vaccine information through richer and more convenient channels such as we media and browsers,and this information can provide a basis for their health behavior decisions.Therefore,it is of certain practical significance to study people’s information adoption behavior of HPV vaccine and its influencing factors,which is helpful to facilitate the promotion of HPV vaccine from the perspective of information adoption.The core issue of this study is the main factors which can affect the public’s information adoption behavior of HPV vaccine.Therefore,this study uses questionnaire method combined and in-depth interview method,and sends questionnaires by convenience sampling method.Based on the Theory of Planned Behavior,Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology and Health Belief Model,this research builds a research model in order to explore the main factors which can influence the public’s information adoption behavior of HPV vaccine,and then analyses the main findings of this research.Finally,this research attempts to put forward some advice on promoting the public’s information adoption behavior of HPV vaccine.The study found that health concerns,perceived health threats,perceived expectations and social influence have a significant positive influence on the information adoption behavior,and perceived risk has a significant negative impact on the public’s information adoption behavior of HPV vaccine.In addition,this study also found some obvious problems in the process of information communication and adoption of HPV vaccine information.Firstly,the influence of mainstream media needs to be enhanced.Secondly,different people have different metaphors about HPV vaccine and diseases.Besides,some people still have misunderstandings about the concept of disease prevention.In view of the main findings of this research,three recommendations are proposed in this study to promote public’s information adoption behavior of HPV vaccine.Firstly,bringing the advantages of mainstream media into full play.Mainstream media should be combined with social media in order to improve the communication system of HPV vaccine information.Secondly,strengthening health education and helping people to set up the correct health concept.Third,attaching importance to interpersonal communication and playing positive effects of social influence. |
