Analysis Of Relative Factors Of Fundic Gland Polyps

Objective:To explore the potential relative factors of fundic gland polyps(FGPs);Method:The inpatients who underwent gastroduodenal endoscopy and biopsy in the First Affiliated Hospital of Xinjiang Medical University from January 2020to September 2020 were enrolled.According to the results of endoscopy and pathology,Study subjects were divided into FGP group which has 330 inpatients and control group which has 360 inpatients.Gender,age,Body Mass Index,history of hypothyroidism,proton pump inhibitors’use,the status of Helicobacter pylori infection and eradication therapy,gastric background mucosa such as bile reflux,atrophy,intestinal metaplasia,and so on were compared between the two groups.SPSS 23.0 was employed for statistical analysis,and t test was employed for measurement data tallying with normal distribution and homogeneous of variance,Mann-Whitney U test was employed for nonparametric data tallying with abnormal distribution;χ~2test was employed for counting data,then multiple logistic regression analysis was processed for targets with single factor comparison.P<0.05 was supposed to be statistically significant.Result:Univariate analysis pointed out that the rates of FGP is higher than non-FGP in age,gender,body mass index,the history of hypothyroidism and cholecystectomy,family history of gastric cancer,the time of proton pump inhibitors’use,Helicobacter pylori eradication therapy rate,bile reflux.There are lower incidence rates of in FGP than non-FGP.Multivariate logistic regression analysis points out that gender(OR=2.07,95%CI:1.23-3.49,P<0.01)、history of hypothyroidism(OR=4.56,95%CI:1.92-10.83,P<0.01)、history of cholecystectomy(OR=3.82,95%CI:1.77-8.24,P<0.01)、proton pump inhibitors’use time(6-12month、>12month)(OR=8.85,95%CI:4.43-17.65,P<0.01 VS OR=3.82,95%CI:1.86-7.87,P<0.01)、Helicobacter pylori eradication therapy(OR=6.95,95%CI:4.13-11.70,P<0.01)、bile reflux of gastric background mucosa(OR=6.52,95%CI:3.18-13.37,P<0.01)are strongly associated with fundic gland polyps,which are independent risk factors of fundic gland polyps.Helicobacter pylori infection(OR=0.24,95%CI:0.15-0.40,P<0.01)is linked negatively with fundic gland polyps,as protective element of fundic gland polyps.Conclusion:Gender,history of hypothyroidism and cholecystectomy,proton pump inhibitors’use time(≥6 month),eradication therapy of Helicobacter pylori,bile reflux are independent risk factors of FGPs,while Helicobacter pylori infection may be a protective factor for fundic gland polyps.
