Clinical Observation Of Zhudi Erchen Decoction In Treating Children’s Chronic Urticaria(Damp-heat Nostalgia Type)

Objective: In this study,Zhudi Er Chen Decoction was used to treat chronic urticaria in children,aiming to explore the clinical effect of this formula on chronic urticaria of Damp-Heat in children,and to provide a more effective and safer treatment method for children with chronic urticaria with traditional Chinese medicine.Methods:A total of 50 children with chronic urticaria(damp-heat retention)who were treated in the Affiliated Hospital of Changchun University of Chinese Medicine from October2019 to October 2020 were screened by the self-control study method,treatment with Zhudi Erchen Decoction oral surgery,The course of treatment was 2 weeks,a total of two periods of treatment,Combined with urticaria weekly activity rating scale(UAS7)and TCM syndrome score,observing and recording changes 2 weeks before and after treatment and 4 weeks after treatment,and adverse reactions during the treatment.After the course of treatment,thecurative effect was determined,and the clinical cured children were followed up for 3 months to evaluate the recurrence rate.Results:1.Evaluation of one week activity scale for urticaria(UAS7)before and after treatment:the total UAS score at 4 weeks after treatment decreased to 2.50±1.56 from 18.96±7.36 before treatment,and the symptom score of UAS also decreased(P < 0.05),indicating that Zhudi Erchen Decoction was effective in the treatment of CU in children,and the effect became more significant with the extension of the course of treatment.2.Evaluation of curative effect of TCM syndromes before and after treatment(demp-heat retention):the total score of TCM syndromes in the 4th week after treatment decreased from21.60 ± 4.35 before treatment to 4.85 ± 1.53,and the scores of primary and secondary symptoms of TCM syndromes were significantly reduced(P<0.05),indicating that Zhudi Erchen decoction could improve the TCM clinical syndromes of CU in children with damp-heat retention,and the efficacy is more significant with the extension of the treatment course.3.Clinical observation was completed in 48 cases.According to the score of UAS7,18 cases were cured clinically,24 cases were significantly effective,4 cases were effective,and 2cases were ineffective after 4 weeks of treatment.The total effective rate was 95.8%.Conclusion: Zhudi Er Chen Decoction can effectively treat the clinical symptoms of chronic urticaria in children(demp-heat retention),and it is not easy to relapse after healing,and the curative effect is certain.
