| Measles is an acute respiratory infectious disease that easily occurs in children and is extremely contagious.The news of measles outbreaks in many places around the world in 2019 has aroused widespread concern.The measles epidemic was once effectively controlled,but today,more than 50 years after the invention of the measles vaccine,there will still be major epidemics that are thought-provoking.In addition to areas with underdeveloped medical conditions,some high-income and middle-income countries have also experienced measles epidemics.This is because people in economically developed areas have a crisis of confidence in vaccines and hesitate to vaccinate and supplement measles vaccines,resulting in herd immunity Significant decline,which caused a surge in measles cases.In general,although my country’s measles epidemic is small and mild compared to foreign countries,how to prevent the occurrence of measles more effectively and spread the concept of timely measles vaccination to the audience under the worldwide outbreak.Spreading the precautionary and preventive ideas of prevention and improving the awareness of measles vaccines are also important factors for effective prevention and control of measles epidemics.Therefore,this paper attempts to select three representative newspapers in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area as a new perspective to compare and study the differences and patterns of measles-related reports by Chinese newspapers and periodicals,and propose new ideas for the health spread of measles-related reports.This study conducts specific research on the relevant reports made by the three newspapers of Nanfang Daily,Hong Kong Ta Kung Pao and Macao Daily News from January 1,2009 to December 1,2019.through the literature research method,content analysis method,text analysis method and comparison Analytical method to study the number of reports,the layout of reports,the genre of reports,the sources of reports,the topics of reports and reporting tendencies of the three newspapers.Through issue analysis,study how the media reports on measles outbreaks,discover problems in measles issue reports,and discuss how to conduct scientific and accurate reports.,To propose effective improvement measures to promote the healthy spread of measles issues,and to provide a certain reference for the reporting of measles issues and the news practice of reporting on the same type of infectious diseases.The study found that the number of reports in the Nanfang Daily was the highest in 2009 and 2010.In addition to domestic measles news reports,it pays more attention to reports on the health page,but to a certain extent,it lacks international attention and is also in the report page.It has shown that there is little international attention,and it has focused on the promotion of topic reports,paying attention to measles vaccine prevention and health knowledge promotion.In the analysis of policy topics,it is found that its related policy reports follow the implementation of the national measles elimination plan.The number of reports in Hong Kong Ta Kung Pao and Macao Daily News began to surge in 2018,not only focusing on reports of measles epidemics in the local area,but also focusing on international and foreign epidemics."Macao Daily News" has a more long-term and broad international perspective.It pays attention to the news topic of vaccine hesitation to a certain extent.Although it has not conducted in-depth reports,it has the awareness to prevent foreign vaccine hesitation from invading the local area.These two newspapers account for a very large proportion of the epidemic issue reports,and they pay attention to specific descriptions of the implementation of measures and methods in the policy issue reports.Although it can be seen that the authoritative sources of medical experts are used to strive for the professionalism of the content in the prevention and treatment issue reports.There is a lack of in-depth coverage of prevention and treatment issues.Among them,it is found that Hong Kong Ta Kung Pao lacks in the dissemination of common knowledge about public health in the promotion of issues.It is found that my country’s measles issue reports should not only focus on the balance and coordination of various issues,but also should be in the perspective of public discourse,in-depth reports on the anti-vaccine movement,and in the aspects of insufficient depth and richness in the content and format of the reports.Improve and improve the scientific nature of measles topic reports,and make health communication a more normal and scientific activity. |
