Aims:1)To study the demographic and clinical characteristics of stroke patients.2)The correlation of nutrition-related human composition and different obesity indicators in stroke patients was studied.3)To study the status of overweight and obesity under different indicators of stroke patients.4)Analyze the situation of invisible obesity in stroke patients. Methods:This study included 305 stroke patients hospitalized in the Department of Neurology of the First Hospital of Jilin University,Jilin Province from August 2020 to December 2020.Overweight and obesity were judged by body quality index, body fat rate and visceral fat area, and then human composition analysis was conducted.BMI was obtained by measuring height and weight;PBF,VFA and various human components were using bioelectrical impedance technology and detected by the Korean INBODY S10 human component analyzer.Statistical analysis with the IBM SPSS Statistics 24.0 software.Square test was used for the differences between independent samples of counting data. The Cochran’s Q test is used to compare the differences between the pairing samples;Comparison between data groups of normal distribution using single factor variance analysis or independent sample t test,LSD test is adopted for bilateral comparison;Data for non-normal distribution or uneven variance use a nonparametric test,Use independent sample Kruskal-Wallis test or Mann-Whitney U test between groups; The correlation of three obesity indexes and human components in stroke patients was analyzed using multiple regression. The difference was significant at P <0.05.Results:1)Human composition is closely related to the results of different obesity indicators.BMI influencing factors include SMM,muscle mass in the left upper limb,VFA(P <0.001),left lower limb muscle mass(P=0.002),and BCM(P=0.021).PBF influencing factors include muscle mass in the SMM,left upper limb,VFA,BCM(P <0.001),and age(P=0.014).VFA influences include left upper limb muscle mass, muscle mass of left lower limb,SMM(P <0.001),height(P=0.003),and torso muscle mass(P=0.039).2)The proportion of invisible obesity in stroke patients was27.87%.Among different age and gender groups were the highest in senior and female groups, reaching 35.26% and 37.74%.3)There are differences between the gender and age groups under the three obese indicators of stroke patients.Under BMI standards, the highest proportion was overweight and obese in the youth group, reaching 73.53%.Under PBF standards, the highest proportion was overweight and obese in the elderly group, reaching 89.10%.No significant differences in overweight and obesity among age groups under VFA.The proportion of women overweight and obese at PBF(90.57%),VFA(46.23%)was significantly higher than in male PBF(79.90%),VFA(20.20%),,while women who were overweight and obese(52.83%)were lower than in men(65.33%).4)Bone muscle mass(SMM),bone mineral content(BMC),body cell volume(BCM)differ under gender groups between different age groups(P <0.001).VFA [94.70(63.48,132.08] in stroke women was significantly higher than in men [72.10(54.30,95.30)],c ~2=4.572,P<0.001.Conclusions:1)Some human components are closely related to BMI,PBF and VFA outcomes in stroke patients.SMM,left upper limb muscle volume,VFA,left lower limb muscle volume, and BCM were associated with BMI.The left upper limb muscle mass and VFA,BCM,age of SMM,were associated with PBF.The left upper limb muscle mass, left lower limb muscle mass,SMM,height, and torso muscle mass were associated with VFA.2)Elderly and female stroke patients should pay attention to the existence of invisible obesity.3)Overweight and obesity in stroke patients under different obesity indicators differ between different age and gender groups.
