| Objective: Patients who visited the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Department of Yijishan Hospital Affiliated to Wannan Medical College from March 2019 to January 2021 were collected,42 patients with temporomandibular joint disorder with clinical symptoms were screened.After the color Doppler ultrasound of temporomandibular joint and related clinical examination,they were randomly divided into two groups: group A and group B.Group A was treated with stable occlusal pad,while group B was not treated with any treatment.The examination results of the two groups before and after treatment were compared and evaluated.To compare the effect of stable jaw pad on the early treatment of non deep overbite temporomandibular joint disorders.To conclude the value of stable jaw pad in the treatment of non deep overbite temporomandibular joint disorders.Methods:1、Inclusion criteria: A patient with temporomandibular joint disorder who came to the outpatient department of oral and maxillofacial surgery of Yijishan Hospital,Wannan Medical College for the first time,and were diagnosed with reducible anterior disc displacement and had no other treatment history before treatment.The patient was clinically diagnosed with reversible anterior disc displacement and had no history of other treatments before treatment.2、Diagnostic criteria: TMD patients presented with TMD symptoms in the seventh edition of oral and maxillofacial surgery textbook,including joint pain,opening and closing of the mouth,opening and closing of the mouth to varying degrees of limited symptoms,which can be clinically diagnosed as TMD patients.3、Medical history record: The patient’s present medical history,treatment history and specialized examination were recorded,and the abnormal joint noise,pain degree and mouth opening limitation degree of the patient were recorded.4、Auxiliary examination: imaging examination is completed by the same medical imaging physician,each patient’s temporomandibular joint color Doppler examination,the patient’s special examination is also checked by the same oral surgeon.According to the patients before and after the examination results were evaluated.Results:1、In this study,42 patients,The youngest age is 16,the oldest age 53,were selected from the outpatient department of yijishan hospital,the Affiliated Hospital of Wannan Medical College.The age group included young and middle-aged patients.Among them,37 cases(88.1%)had joint bounce,31 cases(73.8%)had pain and 22 cases(52.4%)had mouth opening limitation.This shows that patients with TMJ disorders are mainly treated with abnormal mandibular movement,pain,and joint noise and the study has expanded the age range of patients as far as possible,and the diagnosis results are more accurate.2、This study shows that the stable occlusal pad has the early curative effect on patients with temporomandibular joint disorder,and whether gender factors have an impact on it remains to be further investigated;3 、 Stable occlusal pad has a good effect in the early treatment of patients with temporomandibular joint disorder,anterior disc displacement and short course of disease.It can significantly relieve and improve the clinical symptoms of patients with anterior disc displacement.Conclusion:Stable occlusal pad has a certain curative effect on the treatment of TMD patients with anterior disc displacement,and stable occlusal pad has a certain degree of treatment effect on different age groups,and from the economic benefit evaluation,it has the characteristics of price friendly,convenient treatment,etc.,which is worthy of promotion and application in the preliminary treatment of TMD patients. |
