Objective:This subject is a randomized and controlled clinical study. To observe and evaluate the efficacy and safety of Qinghuo zhitong decoction in the treatment of migraine with Wind-fire invading upward Syndrome. It is hoped to provide a new basis for clinical treatment of migraine. Methods:The subjects of the present study were taken from the patients with migraine of Wind-fire invading upward syndrome in Tai’an Hospital of TCM from December 2019 to November 2020,70 patients were randomly divided into two groups, observation group with 35 patients treated by Qinghuo zhitong decoction and control group with 35 patients treated by Chinese patent medicine. The two groups were observed for 4 weeks in the score of frequency, duration and degree, accompanying symptoms,TCM syndrome and the quality of life before and after the treatment, and closely observe adverse reactions during medicine at the same time. Results:A total of 70 patients were enrolled, there are 2 cases of loss in the observation group and 1 case of loss in the control group.A total of67 cases were counted. There was no significant difference in basic information and baseline data between the two groups(P>0.05).The two groups were comparable.Statistical analysis showed the effective rate of the observation group was 93.94%,and that of the control group was 79.41%.The total effective rate of observation group was higher than control group(P<0.05).(1)In terms of headache symptoms, after 4 weeks of treatment, the observation group was better than the control group in terms of the frequency, duration and degree of headache attacks(P<0.05),and there was no significant difference in the treatment results between the two groups in reducing the accompanying symptoms(P>0.05).(2)In terms of TCM syndromes, the improvement of TCM syndromes in the observation group was better than that in the control group(P<0.05).(3)The quality of life of migraine patients was improved in both groups(P<0.05),and the effect in the observation group was better than that in the control group in the three aspects of quality of life:functional limitation, dysfunction and emotion(P<0.05).(4)The long-term efficacy of observation group was better than control group after 1 month follow-up(P<0.05),the efficacy remained stable.(5)Safety assessment:During the study, there was no emergency disease or severe adverse drug reaction requiring emergency treatment, which was tolerated by all patients. Conclusion:Through the clinical data of the efficacy and safety analysis,Qinghuo zhitong decoction can reduce the number of headache attacks, the severity of attacks, the duration and the accompanying symptoms, improve the traditional Chinese medicine syndrome, and improve the quality of life.Therapeutic effect is better than the use of Chinese patent medicine, and there is no obvious adverse reaction. It has good clinical efficacy and high security.
