| Objective: To systematically analyze the efficacy of electroacupuncture on Zusanli,Shangjuxu,Gongsun and Taichong in promoting gastrointestinal function rehabilitation after laparoscopic colorectal cancer surgery and observe its safety and to provide evidence-based basis for electroaccupuncture replacement treatment for this disease. Methods: A total of 84 patients with gastrointestinal dysfunction after laparoscopic colorectal cancer surgery who met the inclusion criteria were selected. The 84 patients were equally divided into two groups by the completely randomized grouping method, including 42 patients in the electroacupuncture group and 42 patients in the control group. The control group receive routine treatment; The electroacupuncture group was treated with electroacupuncture on the basis of conventional treatment, selecting Zusanli(ST36),Shangjuxu(ST37),Gongsun(SP4)and Taichong(LR3).The time of first postoperative venting and cacation, the time to resume eating, the time for normal postoperative bowel sound, postoperative ventosity, bellyache and adverse reactions were recorded in the two groups to evaluate and compare the clinical effective rate of the two groups. Results: The time of first postoperative venting and cacation, the time to resume eating and the time for normal postoperative bowel sound in the electroacupuncture group were significantly earlier than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P < 0.01).The scores of ventosity after treatment in both groups were significantly lower than that before treatment(P<0.01),and the improvement degree of ventosity in the electroacupuncture group was significantly better than that in the control group(P<0.01).After treatment, the scores of bellyache in two groups were significantly lower than those before treatment(P<0.01),but there was no significant difference between the two groups(P > 0.05).The total effective rate was 95% in the electroacupuncture group and 72.5% in the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.01).In addition,no serious adverse events occurred in the electroacupuncture group during the whole study. Conclusion: Electroacupuncture on Zusanli(ST36),Shangjuxu(ST37),Gongsun(SP4)and Taichong(LR3)is safe and effective in treating postoperative gastrointestinal dysfunction after laparoscopic colorectal cancer surgery. It was superior to routine therapy in shortening the time of first postoperative venting and cacation, the time to resume eating, the time for normal postoperative bowel sound and improving postoperative ventosity. And the clinical effective rate of electroacupuncture group was also significantly higher than that of routine therapy.nevertheless, there was no significant differences betwent the two groups in improving the postoperative bellyache. Therefore, electroacupuncture on Zusanli(ST36),Shangjuxu(ST37),Gongsun(SP4)and Taichong(LR3)could be a therapy for gastrointestinal dysfunction after laparoscopic colorectal cancer surgery, deserving further clinical research and promotion. |
