| ObjectiveTo observe the clinical efficacy of self-made Ningfu Decoction in treating child ren with mesenteric lymphadenitis with spleen deficiency and stagnation syndrome,a nd to further explore the clinical efficacy of regulating qi and strengthening spleen,resolving phlegm and eliminating stagnation in treating children with mesenteric lym phadenitis.MethodsSixty children with mesenteric lymphadenitis in pediatric clinic and inpatient de partment of Bao ’an Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine affiliated to Guangzho u University of Traditional Chinese Medicine were selected and randomly divided in to treatment group and control group,with 30 cases in each group.The treatment g roup was treated with oral Ningfu Decoction and the control group was treated with oral lactic acid bacteria chewable tablets for 4 weeks.After the treatment,the mai n clinical symptoms,secondary clinical symptoms and changes of abdominal mesent eric lymph node diameter of the two groups were evaluated and analyzed according to the data obtained by symptom score and diameter.Results1.There is no significant difference in age and sex between the two groups,wh ich is comparable.2.Analysis of main TCM symptoms:before treatment,there was no significant d ifference in sub-scores and total scores of main symptoms and signs(abdominal pai n,abdominal tenderness and tongue pulse condition)between the two groups(P>0.05),but after treatment,there were significant differences between and within group s(P<0.05)3.Analysis of minor TCM symptoms:Before treatment,there was no sig nificant difference between the two groups in terms of body shape,complexion,app etite,belching and acid swallowing,stool score and the total score of minor TCM s ymptoms(P>0.05),but there was a significant difference between the two groups after treatment(P<0.05),and the difference between the scores before and after tr eatment was statistically significant,indicating that Ningfu Decoction can improve th e body shape,complexion,appetite and total score of children,Before treatment,the re was no significant difference in the scores of nausea,vomiting and abdominal dis tension between the two groups(P>0.05),but there was no significant difference between the two groups after tre atment(P<0.05),which indicated that Ningfu Dec oction had no significant difference with the control group in improving nausea,vo miting and defecation.4.Diameter of abdominal mesenteric lymph nodes:Before treatment,there wa s no statistical difference between the longitudinal and transverse diameters of mese nteric lymph nodes in the treatment group and the control group(P>0.05),but aft er treatment,there was significant difference between large groups(P<0.01),and t he difference was also statistically different.It shows that oral Ningfu Decoction ca n obviously reduce the size of longitudinal diameter and transverse diameter by redu cing mesenteric lymph nodes,and its curative effect is obviously better than oral la ctic acid bacteria chewable tablets.Conclusion1.Ningfu Decoction is effective in treating mesenteric lymphadenitis in children.2.Ningfu Decoction is effective in relieving the main symptoms of children wit h mesenteric lymphadenitis,such as abdominal pain,abdominal tenderness and tongu e pulse,and the minor symptoms such as complexion,body shape,appetite,belchin g and stool.3.Ningfu Decoction has no adverse reaction in the treatment of mesenteric lymp hadenitis in children,and has good safety. |
