| Objective:Objective To observe the effect of massage combined with Renshen Yangrong Decoction on the rehabilitation of elderly patients with intertrochanteric fracture after internal fixation with proximal femoral nail(PFNA),and to explore the role and advantages of traditional Chinese medicine comprehensive therapy in the rehabilitation of elderly patients with intertrochanteric fracture after internal fixation with PFNA.methods:70 inpatients from December 2019 to September 2020 in Department of orthopedics and traumatology of our hospital were selected.They were randomly divided into control group and experimental group,35 cases in each group.The control group was given routine rehabilitation treatment,and the experimental group was given massage plus ginseng Yangrong Decoction on the basis of routine rehabilitation treatment.The effects of HGB,HCT,VAS pain score,Harris score,Barthel index,TCM syndrome score and TCM syndrome curative effect were compared between the two groups.Results:1.General data: there was no significant difference in gender,age,operation side,HGB,HCT,VAS score,Harris score,Barthel Index and TCM syndrome score between the two groups before operation(P > 0.05).2.The HGB and HCT levels of the two groups were at the lowest level on the 3rd day after operation,and gradually increased after the 3rd day,and were still lower than the preoperative level on the 7th day after operation;the HGB and HCT levels of the experimental group were significantly higher than those of the control group on the 3rd and 7th day after operation,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).3.One week and two weeks after operation,the VAS scores of the two groups were improved compared with the previous observation time points,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05);at each observation time point,the VAS scores of the experimental group were lower than those of the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).4.The Harris scores of the two groups at 1 month,3 months and 6 months after operation showed an upward trend with the passage of time,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05);at each observation time point,the Harris scores of the experimental group were significantly higher than those of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).5.1 month,3 months and 6 months after operation,the Barthel index of the two groups were higher than that of the previous observation time point,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05);at each observation time point,the Barthel index of the experimental group was significantly higher than that of the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).6.The difference of TCM syndrome score(x ? s)before and after treatment in the experimental group and the control group were 14.45 ± 2.83 and 10.52 ± 2.27 respectively;the difference of TCM syndrome score in the experimental group was significantly higher than that in the control group 2 weeks after operation,with statistical significance(P<0.05).7.Two groups of patients after 2 weeks of treatment: the average rank of the experimental group and the control group were 42.81 and 22.82,the difference between the experimental group and the control group was significant,with statistical significance(Z=-4.955,P<0.05).8.The patients in both groups were followed up to 6 months after operation.There were no adverse reactions such as drug allergy,liver and kidney function damage and thrombosis in the experimental group and the control group.Conclusion:After PFNA internal fixation for elderly patients with intertrochanteric fracture,the application of massage combined with Renshen Yangrong decoction can effectively reduce the symptoms of Qi and blood deficiency and blood stasis,reduce hidden blood loss,relieve pain,improve hip joint function score and Barthel index,and there are no serious adverse reactions in the process of treatment and follow-up. |
