Clinical Observation On The Treatment Of Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus With Depression Of Heart-kidney Yin Deficiency Type By Tortoise Shell Moxibustion

Research purposes:To explore the clinical efficacy of moxibustion with moxibustion on the heart and kidney yin deficiency type 2 diabetes with depression,and provide clinical evidence and new ideas for moxibustion in the treatment of type 2 diabetes with depression.Method:62 cases of patients with type 2 diabetes and depression who met the standard were fall into two groups.each group has 31 patients.Two groups of patients were treated with diabetes.The control group was given fluoxetine hydrochloride 20 mg orally once a day;the moxibustion therapy group was moxibustion at Shenque,Qihai,Guanyuan,and Juque points,every week.6 times,all patients treated 4 weeks which is equal to a course of treatment.we researched totally 2 courses of treatment.Record the HAMD depression scale,Baker depression scale,SF-12 scale,fasting blood glucose,2h postprandial blood glucose,glycosylated hemoglobin,IL-6,TNF-α before and remedy of sicks for efficacy evaluation.Result:1.Depression score: After treatment,both groups were compared with the past.Both groups’ HAMD-17 score and BDI score were dramatic declined than before(P<0.01),and the distinction was obvious meaning;after cure,both groups comparing HAMD-17 scores,the rate of decrease in the moxibustion therapy group was better than that in matched group(P<0.05);after treatment,each group’scontrast about BDI scores indicated that the moxibustion therapy group improved more clearer(P <0.01).2.Quality of life: Each group were parallel with before after therapy.all groups’ SF-12 scores were clearly enhanced compared with pre-remedy(P<0.01),and the diversity was meaningful;Comparing with each group’s SF-12 score,the moxibustion therapy group’s SF-12 improvwment was more obvious than that of the matchted group(P<0.05);it proved that the two therapies could rise quality of patients’ life,the sicks in the moxibustion group had better self-evaluation and health higher;3.Curative effect: Evaluate and evaluate the curative effect by HAMD-17 reduction rate.The valid ratio of the moxibustion group in all is 93.56%,and the valid percentage of medicine group in number is 83.87%.The the moxibustion group’cure rate is more accurate(P<0.05).4.Blood glucose indicators: After treatment,the blood glucose indicators of FBG,2h PG,Hb A1 c in all groups were matched with those before treatment,and these index were obvious lower(P <0.01).Among them,the moxibustion group altered blood sugar better than medicine group(P<0.05);5.Inflammatory factors: The levels of inflammatory factors TNF-α and IL-6 in all groups descended evidently(P<0.01);the levels of TNF-α and IL-6 in the remedy group fell more obvious after treatment(P < 0.05);it means that both groups can down-regulate the content of inflammatory factors in patients,and the blood inflammatory factor levels of patients in the tortoise moxibustion group are lower than those in medicine group;Research conclusion:The diaphragm moxibustion can clearly fell the HAMD and BDI depression scale scores,drop the bad influence of sicks,ascend sicks’ life happiness,and have a certain auxiliary function on the regulation of blood sugar.The outcomes of this survey indicate that moxibustion with tortoise board can effectively inhibit inflammatory factors,and may play an antidepressant effect by improving the level of oxidative stress in the body.
