Clinical Observation On Treatment Of Post-herpetic Neuralgia With Huoxue Zhitong Decoction Compound Fire-needle

Objective:Investigate the clinical efficacy of the self-prepared Huoxue Zhitong Decoction combined with Fire-Needle therapy on post-herpetic neuralgia(type of qi stagnation and blood stasis),and to observe its safety and the improvem-ent of patients’ quality of life.Methods:Data of the subjects under clinical observation from August 2020 to February 2021,96 patients were enrolled in the dermatology clinic of the First Affiliated Hospital of Hei longjiang University of Traditional Chinese Medicine.Patients(96 cases)who met the inclusion criteria were randomly divided into three groups according to the order of coming to the hospital.Treatment group 1 was to give oral Chinese medicine decoction(Huoxue Zhitong Decoction)combined with Fire Needle(32 cases);Treatment group 2to give oral Chinese medicine decoction(Huoxue Zhitong Decoction)(32cases);Control group to give Chinese Patent Medicine Xue Fu Zhu Yu Capsules(32 cases).All three groups were treated for four weeks,and the pain degree,sleep quality index score and anxiety index of all patients were recorded before(0±2 days),7(0±2 days),14(0±2 days),21(0±2 days)and28(0±2 days)after enrollment.By comparing the curative effect index of each group,to analyze the curative effect of the differences and evaluate the effect of Huoxue Zhitong Decoction combined with Fire-Needle therapy on postherpet-ic neuralgia.Results:After 4 weeks of treatment,the P values of the observed indexes were all less than 0.05 compared with those before treatment,and after each cycle of treatment,the score showed a downward trend compared with the treatment effect of the previous cycle.Compared before and after treatment,the total effective rate of treatment group 1 was 90.00%,the total effective rate of treatment group 2 was 83.80%,and the total effective rate of control group was 71.88%.The effective rate of treatment group 1 was significantly better than that of treatment group 2 and control group(P< 0.05).The results showed significant differences.Conclusions:The self-designed prescription of Huoxue Zhitong Decoction combined with Fire-Needle therapy for external treatment can effectively improve the pain degree,sleep quality index score and anxiety index of patients with postherpetic neuralgia(type of qi stagnation and blood stasis).The program is safe and effective,and the pain relief effect is obvious.
