The Clinical Effect Of Foshou Tongbi Decoction Combined With Zhitong Ointment On Post-herpetic Neuralgia With Qi Deficiency And Blood Stasis

Objective: To investigate the clinical effect of Foshou Tongbi Decoction combined with Zhitong ointment on post-herpetic neuralgia with Qi deficiency and blood stasis.Methods: From January 2022 to January 2023,70 patients with postherpetic neuralgia with Qi deficiency and blood stasis were selected from outpatients and inpatients in the Department of Encephalopathy and skin sore Selection,Gansu Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine.There were 35 cases in the control group and 35 cases in the treatment group.The treatment group was treated with Foshou Tongbi decoction combined with Zhitong ointment,while the control group was treated with pregabalin capsules orally.Each group was treated for 4 weeks.The changes of pain duration score,TCM syndrome score,VAS score,HAMA score,PSQI score,lymphocyte subsets CD3,CD4,CD4/CD8 levels were observed before and after treatment.Results:1.Before treatment,there were no statistical differences in baseline data,pain duration score,TCM syndrome score,VAS score,HAMA score,PSQI score,lymphocyte subsets CD3,CD4,CD4/CD8 levels between the two groups(P > 0.05),indicating that the two groups were comparable.2.After treatment,the clinical efficacy and effective rate of the treatment group and the control group were 87.50% and 77.14%,respectively,with statistical significance between the two groups(P < 0.05).3.After treatment,TCM symptom score,VAS score,pain duration score,HAMA score and PSQI score of the two groups were decreased,and the comparison between the two groups before and after treatment was statistically significant(P < 0.05).4.Compared with before treatment,serum levels of CD3,CD4 and CD4/CD8 were increased,and the comparison between the two groups before and after treatment was statistically significant(P < 0.05).5.Safety and adverse reactions: There were no significant abnormal changes in the test indexes before and after the test,such as blood routine analysis,fecal routine analysis,urine routine analysis,liver and kidney function determination,routine electrocardiogram and other results.The test process was smooth,and no adverse reactions were observed,indicating that Foshou Tongbi decoction combined with Zhitong ointment has good clinical safety.Conclusions: Foshou Tongbi Decoction combined with Zhitong ointment has significant clinical efficacy,which can significantly improve the pain duration,TCM syndrome scores,reduce VAS scores,HAMA scores and PSQI scores,and increase serum CD3,CD4 and CD4/CD8 levels,with good safety.
