Clinical Observation Of Routine Acupuncture Combined With Traditional Chinese Medicine Fumigation On Postherpetic Neuralgia

Objective:In view of the symptoms of postherpetic neuralgia,this paper adopts the treatment method of routine acupuncture combined with traditional Chinese medicine fumigation,and mainly studies the analgesic advantages of this treatment method and the improvement effect on patients’anxiety.Methods:60 PHN patients in one department of acupuncture and moxibustion in our hospital were selected according to the criteria of diagnosis,inclusion and exclusion.Patients were randomly divided into two groups.The treatment group was treated with acupuncture combined with traditional Chinese medicine fumigation therapy,and the control group was treated with routine acupuncture therapy.Routine acupuncture group according to the 2015 china acupuncture society standard"evidence-based acupuncture clinical practice guide:herpes zoster（revised edition）"on the treatment of PHN acupuncture point-taking program,Main point:local Ashi point,Acupoints:pain lesions of the corresponding nerve segments and 1～2 nerve segments of the affected side of the Jiaji point.40 min,of needles peripuncture The acupuncture fumigation group used the above acupuncture method combined with traditional Chinese medicine fumigation,Apply sterile gauze to the most obvious skin pain,And adjusted to warm patient tolerance TDP baking lamp irradiation,Acupuncture40 min,20 min of fumigation.Each group was treated once a day,6consecutive days of treatment per week（1 day off on Sunday per week）,All patients were treated once a day,Monday to Saturday,Sunday rest,a total of four weeks.The pain visual simulation（VAS）score,the pain rating index（PRI）and Hamilton anxiety scale（HAMA）score were collected before and after treatment.Finally,the collected score data were statistically analyzed.Results:1.After four weeks of treatment,the total effective rate of acupuncture combined with fumigation in the treatment of PHN was 93.33%,which was significantly different from 80.00%of conventional acupuncture（p<0.05）;2.VAS¹)and PRI²)scores of the two groups were lower than those before treatment,and the scores of acupuncture fumigation group were more prominent,(p¹)<0.05,p²)<0.01),which indicated that the effect of acupuncture fumigation group on pain and emotional condition was better than that of conventional acupuncture group;3.HAMA scores of the two groups decreased after the total course of treatment,especially in the acupuncture fumigation group（p<0.01）,indicating that the improvement effect of acupuncture fumigation group on anxiety was better than that of conventional acupuncture group.Conclusions:1.Conventional acupuncture combined with traditional Chinese medicine fumigation treatment for PHN is more effective than conventional acupuncture treatment.2.Acupuncture combined with traditional Chinese medicine fumigation can effectively relieve pain symptoms,improve anxiety,and is superior to acupuncture alone.
