Objective: To explore the effect of corneal lesion excision and iodine tincture cauterization combined with antifungal drugs in the treatment of fungal keratitis.Methods:71 patients(71 eyes)with mild to moderate fungal keratitis diagnosed by laboratory examinations were treated with corneal lesion excision and iodine tincture cauterization combined with antifungal drugs to observe the effect. The 71 patients(71 eyes)were divided into mild and moderate groups according to the severity of the disease, with 46 mild cases(46 eyes)and 25 moderate cases(25 eyes).Compare the treatment effect of the two groups of patients.Results:1.Among 71 patients,59 were cured(83.1%),7 were markedly effective(9.9%),and 5 were ineffective(7%).Among 46 cases(46 eyes)of mild patients,43 cases(93.5%)were cured,3 cases(6.5%)were markedly effective, and 0 cases(0%)were ineffective.Among 25 cases(25 eyes)of moderate patients,16 cases(64%)were cured,4 cases(16%)were markedly effective, and 5 cases(20%)were ineffective;2.There was significant difference in the treatment effect of patients with different disease degrees(P< 0.05),and there was correlation between the two(P < 0.05).Conclusions:1.Corneal lesion excision and iodine tincture cauterization combined with antifungal drugs is a simple and effective treatment for mild to moderate fungal keratitis.2.The therapeutic effect of this method is related to the patient’s condition. The more severe the condition, the worse the treatment effect.
