Application Of Xiaochengqi Decoction In Intestinal Preparation Before Colorectal Surgery

ObjectiveBy comparing the application of Xiao Cheng Qi Tang and mannitol in the preparation of intestine before operation of large intestine,to provide the preliminary evidence that whither Xiao Cheng Qi Decoction can replace mannitol before enteric preparation of large intestine.MethodsIn this study,80 cases of patients with colorectal disease undergoing surgery were randomly divided into two groups of 40 cases.The control group and the experimental group were given mannitol,Xiao Cheng Qi soup preoperative intestinal preparation.The effects of intestinal cleanness,clear bowel movement during bowel preparation,total bowel movements,stool bacterial smear(club ratio),postoperative first stool trait score,sleep score and safety index(WBC,HCT,ALT,CR,CRP,electrolytes potassium sodium and adverse reactions),the time of the first postoperative exhaust defecation,postoperative complications were recorded and compared.Results(1)There was no significant difference in the efficiency of intestinal clean between the experimental group and the control group in the intestinal preparation cleanliness.In the last stool clear or not,no significant difference between the two groups.In the stool frequency,the total number of control group and experimental group was no statistically significant difference(p >0.05)。(2)There was no significant difference in gut microflora before and after gut preparation between the two groups.There was significant difference in club ratio after gut preparation(p <0.05).There was no significant difference between the two groups before and after the club.(3)There was no significant difference in stool trait scores between the two groups before and after the operation.There was no significant difference in the stool stool before and after operation in experimental group(p>0.05).There was no significant difference in the control group before and after operation.(4)In terms of sleep,there was no significant difference in statistics between the two groups before and after gut preparation.There was no significant difference between the two groups before and after their sleep.(5)There was a significant difference between the two groups in the time of first defecation(P<0.05).The experimental group than the control group exhaust defecation earlier.(6)In terms of safety,two groups of adverse reactions,postoperative complications,and blood routine,CRP,liver and kidney function,electrolytes(potassium chloride),hematocrit and other indexes before and after the two groups had no significant difference,Are in the normal range.After taking the two groups of blood sodium ion difference was statistically significant(P <0.05),but in the normal range.Conclusion: Compared with mannitol,Xiao Cheng Qi Decoction has good effect on preoperative bowel preparation in patients with colorectal diseases,little effect on intestinal microflora,quicker recovery of gastrointestinal function,less side effects and less safety good.
