Effect Of Acupoint Application In The Treatment Of Liver And Kidney Yin Deficiency PMOP

[Objective]:The application of acupoint application assisted by alendronate sodium tablets in the treatment of PMOP with liver and kidney yin deficiency was used to observe the effects of bone mineral density,bone metabolism,sex hormone level,symptom improvement and quality of life,so as to evaluate the efficacy and safety of acupoint application,and provide a new idea for external treatment of osteoporosis in traditional Chinese medicine.[Methods]:This study adopts the method of random grouping and control study.60 patients with PMOP diagnosed as liver and kidney yin deficiency were randomly divided into acupoint application group and routine treatment group.The routine drug group was given the basic treatment scheme of conventional bisphosphonate+active vitamin D+calcium,while the acupoint application group was added with traditional Chinese medicine plaster on the basis of the patients who were treated in The Second Affiliated Hospital of Zhejiang Traditional Chinese Medicine University from January 2020 to December 2020.The changes of bone mineral density,bone metabolism index,sex hormone level,TCM symptom score and quality of life evaluation recorded before treatment,3 months and 6 months after treatment were compared,and all the data were statistically analyzed.[Results]:1.A total of 54 patients were included in this study,including 26 in acupoint application group and 28 in conventional treatment group.In the two groups,age,menopause,height,weight and body weight index(P>0.05),and the two groups were comparable.2.BMD value:There was no obvious difference in bone density between the two groups before treatment,and the two groups were still little higher after treatment,both at 3 months and 6 months of treatment(P>0.05).3.Bone metabolic index:there was no significant difference between the two groups before treatment.At 3 months after treatment,although PINP and β-CTX had some improvement in the acupoint application group and the conventional treatment group,there was no significant difference compared with that before treatment.After 6 months of treatment,PINP increased,β-CTX decreased compared with before treatment(P<0.05),PINP improved compared with before treatment(P>0.05),β-CTX decreased compared with before treatment(P<0.05).4.Sex hormone levels:there were no differences between estradiol,FSH and LH,(P>0.05),before treatment,the acupuncture application group and conventional treatment groups changed little,and no difference between groups(P>0.05).However,after 6 months of treatment,the estradiol level increased slightly compared with before treatment,and the FSH level decreased,but there was no significant difference compared with before treatment(P>0.05).5.TCM symptom score:when the patients were enrolled in the group,the symptoms such as low back pain and lower limb flaccidity were scored.There was no significant difference between the two groups(P>0.05),but at the time of 3 months of treatment,the symptoms of the patients in the acupoint application group had been improved to a certain extent compared with those before treatment,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05);In the routine treatment group,the symptoms improved significantly after 6 months of treatment,and the difference was statistically significant before and after treatment(P<0.05);Compared with the conventional treatment group,there was also a certain difference in symptom relief between the two groups after 6 months of treatment.The symptom relief of the acupoint application group was better,and the difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05).6.Quality of life score:the physical and mental health of patients before treatment were evaluated by SF-36 score scale.There was no significant difference in quality of life between the two groups before treatment;After 3 months of treatment,the physical health of patients in the acupoint application group was significantly improved,while the quality of life of patients in the routine treatment group was not improved;After 6 months of treatment,the quality of life of the two groups was improved in both physical and mental aspects.The improvement of physical pain,personal energy and mental health in the acupoint application group was better than that in the conventional treatment group.The difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05);The general health status of patients in the routine treatment group was also significantly improved,which was statistically different from that before treatment(P<0.01).[Conclusion]:Applying traditional Chinese medicine to the designated acupoints combined with conventional anti osteoporosis treatment can effectively improve the patient’s bone metabolism,alleviate the patient’s low back pain,lower limb weakness and other symptoms,have significant advantages in improving the patient’s quality of life,may have a certain impact on the patient’s endocrine level,and the curative effect is better than simple anti osteoporosis treatment.It has the advantages of high safety,convenient application,accurate targeting,low price and so on,It is a reasonable and effective means and method for adjuvant treatment of osteoporosis.
