| Objective: To retrospectively analyze the shorty clinical effect of acromioplasty on patients with type Ⅱ acromion and small-and medium-size rotator cuff injury,so as to provide reference for clinicians to choose the operation mode for such patients. Methods:To chose those patients with type Ⅱ acromion, small and medium-size rotator cuff injury who underwent arthroscopic shoulder surgery in the Affiliated Hospital of Chengdu University of TCM(Sichuan Provincial Hospital of TCM)from September 2018 to September 2020 as the research objects.Patients with no acromioplasty during the operation were selected as group A,with a total of 21 cases.Patients with acromioplasty were selected as group B,with a total of 23 cases. The operation time, pain score and shoulder function score of the two groups were compared and analyzed at 4 periods, including 1 day before surgery,4 weeks after surgery,12 weeks after surgery and 6 months after surgery.Results:(1)All 44 patients were followed up;(2)there was no significant discrepancy in the general data of the two groups before surgery(P > 0.05);(3)Compared with last follow-up results,no statistical discrepancy is shown between the postoperative pain score and shoulder function score of the two groups(P < 0.05);(4)There was no statistical discrepancy in the pain score and shoulder function score at any follow-up time point between the two groups(p> 0.05);(5)The operation time of group A was shorter than group B(P < 0.05).Conclusion: For patients with type Ⅱ acromion,small-and medium-size rotator cuff injury, there was no clinical discrepancy in postoperative pain and short-term shoulder function score whether do acromioplasty or not. |
