Objective: this study analyzed and discussed the effectiveness and feasibility of the 8-minute incremental load test to evaluate aerobic exercise capacity. The regression model of maximum oxygen uptake(VO2max)was established based on the 8-minute incremental load test, and the reference grade for the evaluation of aerobic exercise capacity based on VO2 max was established.Object of study: this study took 40 Latin dance majors(20 males and 20 females)from Beijing sport university as the object of study.According to their training years and competition scores, they were divided into high level and low level groups. Methods: experimental method was used in this study.Bruce scheme was selected for the treadmill increasing load test to obtain the maximum oxygen uptake of the subjects.According to the characteristics of Latin dance,an 8-minute incremental load test was designed to obtain the peak oxygen uptake of the subjects.Wearing stationary and portable gas metabolites, subjects were subjected to treadmill incremental load test and 8-minute incremental load test, respectively.T test and Pearson correlation analysis were conducted on the obtained vo2 Max and peak vo2 uptake.T test and Pearson correlation analysis were used to verify the effectiveness of the 8-minute incremental load test. The regression model of VO2 max was deduced by8-minute incremental load test through multiple step-up regression analysis, and 20 Latin dancers were selected to carry out regression test on the regression model. The percentile method was used to establish the reference grade of VO2 max for evaluating aerobic exercise capacity. Results :(1)designed an 8-minute incremental load test according to the characteristics of Latin dance items.(2)the paired t-test between the data from the8-minute incremental load test and the data from the treadmill incremental load test found that there was no significant difference between VO2 max and VO2 peak.HRmax showed significant differences.(3)Pearson correlation analysis of the measured data from the 8-minute increasing load test and the measured data from the treadmill increasing load test found that there was a significant correlation between VO2 max and VO2 peak.HRmax has no significant correlation.(4)through multiple linear regression analysis, the regression model of Latin dancers VO2 max was established by 8-minute increasing load test as VO2max(L/min)=0.011×HRmax+0.170× bm-0.067 × age-4.142(R =0.792,SEE=0.38 l /min)VO2max(L/min)=0.011×HRmax+0.173× bm-2.679(R =0.771),SEE=0.39 l /min)(5)the reference grade of VO2 max in the 8-minute incremental load test for Latin dancers finally established in this study is: male students(: excellent: ≥3.001 l /min;Good: 2.646 ~ 3.000 L/min.: 2.111 ~ 2.645 L/min;Poor:1.749~2.110L/min;Poor: ≤ 1.748 l /min)female:(excellent: ≥ 3.000 l /min;Good:2.557 ~ 3.000 L/min.: 2.244 ~ 2.556 / min;Poor: 1.427~2.243L/min;Poor: 1.426L/min or less)Conclusion :(1)a test method was designed to evaluate the aerobic exercise ability of Latin dancers, which was an 8-minute incremental load test.(2)the regression model of Latin dancers VO2max(L/min)was calculated as VO2max(L/min)=0.011×HRmax+0.173× bmi-2.679 through multiple stepstep regression analysis and 8-minute incremental load test.(3)the reference level of VO2 max of the 8-minute incremental load test for Latin dancers of different genders was finally established.
