The Research On Rumba And Cha-cha Action’s Classification

Sport dance is the production,whichcombines the music and body movements.And it experiencing rapid development and prosperity in China.As a new project,it has attracted a large number of people to learn.In the current teaching process,it is only the form of steps combinations to teach the technical movements.Rather than transmitting the essential laws between the technical movements and various footwork to the dancers.In addition,teachers are not able to understand the movements better for choreography of various dance movements and target teaching.In order to promote the better development of the sports dance,this article takes the rumba and chacha dance’s movement classification as the research object.In order to help improve the action specifications,unify the assessment standards;By using different characteristics and common actions to create a reference for the various action arrangements;For the special teaching,new technical actions are added to enrich teaching system,improve the quality of teaching content,and provide scientific theoretical basis for special teaching.Through using literature,interview,Delphi method,statistical methods to help understand and supplement more rumba and chacha dance movements.The actions are sorted into more scientific and standardizes system to analysis,also this system is more suit for rumba and cha-cha dance action analysis.Through repeated filtering and coding of movements in the literature,206 rumba and chacha dance movements are counted.According to word frequency analysis,we can conclude that the turns and twists appear most frequently in rumba and chacha dance.In terms of the unique movement methods and technical movements of the Rumba and Chacha dances,we explain that "turn" is the most important feature of these dances,and it is also the core technology and movement of these two types of dances.The frequency of the words is different,because of the style of each dance is different.And except the common rotation and swivel dance steps.The hip twists are the most actions in rumba dance,which have the characteristics of the original Cuban style.In chacha dance,the lock-step and chase-type is the most actions.Through the Delphi method,the rumba and chacha dance movement classification index system was established with 4 first-level indicators,9second-stage indicators,and 163 third-stage indicators.The index system for rumba and chacha movement classification is: rotation category(including 3 secondary indicators: rotation,twist,twisted hips;54 tertiary indicators)in-situ category(including 1 secondary indicator: in-situ twisting;18 tertiary indicators)linear movement category(including 3 secondary indicators: chase,walk,lock step;30tertiary indicators)combined dance steps category(including 2 second-level indicators: move and swivel,move and rotation;61 third-level index).
