Research On Yumen Boatman Chant

Yumen ferry in the northwest of Xingyang,Henan Province,the West is Dabashi Mountain,the East is Ao Shan,Xingyang Yumen Ferry is the Yellow River into the place.In ancient times,the location of the Yumen ferry crossing in Xingyang formed a swamp through which the water flowed,where the chasm converged with the Yellow River,the Jelang water and the Danglang Canal,where the water transport site was set up,and where the bian water of Luoshui met,it is also the location of the National Granary,Heyin Granary,water transport is very developed,with the national economic blood hub status.Yumen boatman Chant is a work of art created by boatmen working on the water and is the crystallization of the culture of the folk music for thousands of years.Yumen boatman Chant’s cultural coverage and cultural connotation is far-reaching and profound,and its cultural value and significance become the representative and remains of the Yellow River Shipping Culture because of the unique economic blood and pivotal status of Yumen ferry in XingyangYumen boatman Chant has a glorious history with the prosperity and development of water transportation in Yumen,Xingyang.However,with the progress of the times and the decline of the long-distance water transportation on the Yellow River,this unique folk music art once fell into the embarrassing situation of no successor.Until 2009,Yumen boatman Chant was listed in the intangible cultural heritage,only gradually returned to the people’s vision,caused the attention of the vast number of relevant departments and cultural workers.At present,Yumen boatman Chant is mainly circulated in Xingyang,Henan Province,and I have been paying close attention to it ever since I came into contact with the art of folk music in my hometown.This article takes Yumen boatman Chant as the research object,starts with Yumen boatman Chant’s artistic characteristic,the dissemination way and the vicissitude track,unifies the methods of music anthropology,literature science and so on,carries on the conformity analysis to the related Yumen boatman Chant literature material,in order to facilitate a comprehensive understanding of the system and Research Yumen boatman Chant for the home of Folk Music Art Heritage and development capacity to contribute to a force.In addition to the introduction and conclusion,this paper is divided into four parts:Chapter One,the cultural ecological background and development course of the origin of Yumen Boatman,mainly from the three aspects of the natural environment,the water canal and the cultural ecological background of the formation and development of Yumen Boatman,in the second chapter,Yumen boatman Chant’s art characteristic,then starts from the music specialized angle of view,from the characteristics of rhythm,Libretto and dialect,this paper discusses the artistic features of Yumen boatman Chant under the background of Traditional Culture and Ecology,and in the third chapter,the track of vicissitude of Yumen boatman Chant’s musical activities,based on the background of Contemporary Culture and Ecology and combined with oral history,in the fourth chapter,the analysis and protection of Cultural Ecology of Yumen boatman Chant is studied,by studying the change of Noumenon and music activity of Yumen Boatman,this paper analyzes the relationship between Yumen boatman Chant and regional natural geographical environment,humanistic social environment,according to the current situation of Contemporary Cultural Ecology,this paper analyzes the problems encountered by Yumen boatman Chant in inheritance and puts forward some suggestions on the inheritance and protection of Yumen boatman Chant.
