Background:Music is the cultural result accumulated by human beings in the development, and it is an art of hearing.Due to its complexity, the cooperation and cooperation of multi-sensory systems are required during training. Therefore,it has a significant and stable impact on long-term music trainers’ cognitive abilities. In addition, brain mechanism studies have shown that long-term music training can also cause significant changes in brain structure and brain function. However,in recent years, there have been few researches on the time perception of auditory aspects in music education groups. In other words, how many years does a person have to go through music training to achieve an accurate time perception ability beyond ordinary people? No research has been conducted on this issue. In addition, does the level of intentional attention of music trainers during the training process change over time?No studies have given evidence from the time-frequency analysis of EEG.Study 1:Three groups of university students/graduates were recruited for research in a music university and an ordinary university in Xi’an.One group consists of 18 music majors with music training over 10 years(11-18 years);the second group consists of 23 music majors with music training less than or equal to 10 years(2-10 years);the third group has 18 Non-music majors without any music training. This experiment uses a time comparison task:participants are required to determine which of the two groups of sound stimuli presented in succession is longer. The experiment uses two factors:3(Frequency Difference:(0Hz,200Hz,400Hz)×3(Duration Difference:100ms,200ms,300ms)).The results show that:The accuracy of time perception of individuals trained for over 10 years is significantly higher than that of ordinary people. However, there is no significant difference in the accuracy of time perception between individuals who have been trained for less than 10 years and ordinary people.Study 2:At the same time,Research 2 recruited 19 piano training students from Xi’an Conservatory of Music to study piano for more than 10 years as research subjects, recorded their EEG data when they independently practiced the same piano track, and used time-frequency analysis to explore their Time distribution of intentional attention when practicing alone. The results show that individuals have higher alpha wave energy at the beginning of practice, but as the practice time increases, alpha wave energy gradually decreases, and theta wave energy begins to dominate. The energy of theta wave reaches its maximum in about 16 minutes of practice. After that, the energy of the alpha wave began to increase slowly, and the energy of theta wave decreased until 36 minutes of practice. The EEG then maintains a dominant state of theta waves. Conclusion:Through the above two studies, the following conclusions can be drawn:(1)The accuracy of time perception of individuals who have been trained for more than 10 years is significantly higher than that of ordinary people, but individuals who have not been trained for more than 10 years are not significantly different from ordinary people, and the frequency is different. It does not affect the individual’s judgment of time interval.(2)Compared with intermediate piano practitioners,it can be concluded that individuals who have piano training for more than 10 years have a stronger ability to maintain a high level of intentional attention during piano training than intermediate piano practitioners;(3)During piano training, individuals with a piano training period of more than 10 years have a higher level of intentional attention at the beginning of training and between 1636 minutes during training, and in the 40-minute period During training, individuals will experience a more exhausting period of time, that is,shortly after the start of training to 16 minutes. |
