Study On Buddhist Problems Of Shaanxi Province In Jin Dynasty

The Shaanxi Province in the Jin Dynasty began in the Pseudo-Qi and ended in the Mogol-Yuan Dynasty.This area has always been one of the ancestral temples of Buddhism.The problem of Buddhism on Shaanxi Province in Jin Dynasty is not only a part of Buddhism,but also a part of social culture in Jin Dynasty.The buddhist stone carving materials of Shanxi Province in the jin dynasty containa large number of records of helpers,secular believers,monasteries,monks and local Buddhist activities,which provide us with many basic historical materials for the glimpse of Shaanxi Province Buddhism in the Jin Dynasty.In the past,the relevant studies were scattered,mostly focusing on the interpretation of single stone carvings and the inscriptions of grotto temples,but less on the overall style of shan-xi road Buddhism in the jin dynasty.Because of this,my article summarizes the study of the form and size,the author of the book,the time,the place and the description of the Buddhist stone carvings on Shaanxi Province in the Jin Dynasty and revises the errors in the current academic circles.My article discusses the following aspects:Because of the war influence,the trend of Shaanxi Province Buddhism started slowly and Shaanxi Province Buddhism started in the reign of King Emperor Xizong of Jin and king hailing,then in reign of the Emperor Shizong of Jin and Zhangzong dynasties peaked and then declined;The economic and political centers of the monasteries tend to be places where Buddhism flourished,jingzhaofu Province,with the largest number of monasteries,was also the largest economic and political center in the northwest of the Jin Dynasty.Through the study of the history of Raoyi Temple,it is found that the war in the early Jin Dynasty did not bring down the Temple of Shaanxi Province;According to the monk Ta Ming,we can see the Buddhist track of the monks was usually narrated in the third person,focusing on the description of the monks practicing Buddhism,the description of the monks’character appears to be the same.On the whole,it created a relationship between the monks and the Buddhist contract since childhood,and then they entered the Buddhist school,the image of the Group of eminent monks who recited sutras for years and made outstanding contributions to the development of the monasteries and monasteries;From the perspective of the buddhist belief class and the way of belief,the buddhist believers in shanxi Province during the jin Dynasty included not only monks,but also civilian military officers,normal people,female benefactors and officials of ethnic minorities.The ways of belief were mainly incense burning and chanting,temple repair,offering offerings and taking part in buddhist activities.
