Fighting image refers to the image of fighting or fighting or sumo using the body(unarmed)or equipment. There are a total of 25 Han portrait stones unearthed in northern Shaanxi, including 11 lintel stone,11 gate stone, one threshold stone and the other two are unknown. They are mainly manifested in three forms: human-to-human fighting,human-to-animal fighting and animal-to-animal fighting.Combined with the image content and the side portraits, the fighting images in Northern Shaanxi are mainly expressed in hunting, opera and grazing scenes, and the number of opera pictures is the largest.Compared with the portrait stone unearthed in the area and that unearthed in other places in China,a few portraits are similar to the stone images unearthed in Xuzhou and Nanyang, which may be affected by the two places,The other portrait stones of such themes are related to the special social and historical background of northern Shaanxi at that time,And with the migration of the Han Dynasty population,it may have affected other places. In addition, the contents of this kind of images in northern Shaanxi are mostly related to Hu people, and they are mainly unearthed in Suide Huangjiata Tomb Group,Shenmu Da Baodang Cemetery and Guanzhuang Village of Mizhi County. These tombs are either tombs of The Southern Huns or burial objects with nomadic cultural characteristics unearthed in tombs. Therefore, the identity of the tomb owners of the image tombs of the fighting images in northern Shaanxi can be inferred.
