Study Of Huang Zongxi’s Epitahs

Huang Zongxi was enshrined in the Qing Dynasty.After Qian Qianyi,he became the main leader of the literature circles in the early Qing dynasty," From the demise of the literary and taoism,the two can be restored to one".it has the merits of the past and the next generation.As a great writer in the early Qing Dynasty,Huang Zongxi was especially good at writing epitaphs.His epitaphs are more than one hundred,which often converge the historical situations,the feelings of homeland and personal feelings,reflecting the distinctive characteristics of the times and extremely high historic and literary value.This article takes Huang Zongxi’s epitaphs as the main research object,and studies the main types,artistic features and historical values,in order to make a comprehensive and in-depth study on Huang Zongxi’s and prose in east Zhejiang in the early Qing Dynasty.The paper is divided into six chapters.The introduction discusses the definition and stylistic features of epitaphs,the situation and significance of Huang Zongxi’s epitaphsThe first chapter focuses on the era of the Ming and Qing Dynasties,Huang Zongxi’s humanity handover and his literary thoughts and historiography.It placed Huang Zongxi in the background of the Ming and Qing Dynasties,also considered his friendship and education,to highlight the motivation and purpose of Huang Zongxi’s epitaphs.The second chapter classifies Huang Zongqi’s epitaphs into three categories: the loyalty of the motherland,the literati scholars and other characters,to explore the ideological connotation of the epitaphs,the life of the monumental masters and the historical intent of the epitaphs.The third chapter mainly analyzes the artistic characteristics of Huang Zongxi’s epitaphs.It discusses them from three perspectives: narrative features,language features and artistic styles.It points out that Huang Zongxi’s epitaphs are good at selecting typical examples in writing narratives,and uses diversified narrative modes to shape characters from multiple perspectives,attention to details,and use the legendary brush method to highlight the character and spirit;the language is elegant and deep,majestic and natural;The artistic style is timposing,sentient and rational.The article contains magnificent momentum,deep emotions and full of rational thinking.The fourth chapter mainly discusses the literture and historical value of Huang Zongxi’s epitaphs,from the evolution of epitaphs and the writings of the east Zhejiang school of history.It points out that Huang Zongxi’s epitaphs mainly contributed to Han Yu,Ouyang Xiu,Yuan Haowen,Ye Shi,Gui Youguang.His epitaphs have profound influence on Wan Sitong,Shao Tingcai,Quan Zuwang,Zhang Xuecheng,which promoted the development of east Zhejiang school’s history and also promoted the development of it’s proses.In the final part,the author summarizes and affirms the value of Huang Zongxi’s epitaphs,points out that his epitaphs are the first in the Ming and Qing Dynasties.He should have a place in the history of epitaphs and even the history of Chinese prose.Huang Zongxi’s literary studies have broad prospects.
