| The concept of "tension" was first proposed by Alan Ret in the field of literary criticism,which means that the extension and connotation of poetry mutually restrain and rely on each other,making poetry an organic whole of contradiction and unity,which was gradually used in novel criticism.Combining the extension and interpretation of the concept of "tension" by the critics,the author believes that there is tension between forces that confront and interact with each other,and the opposite is the essence.Through a comprehensive study of the text of Liu Zhenyun’s novels,we find that the irony,paradoxes,and conflicts in the work create multiple contradictory factors in the content of the novel.They are opposed to each other and complement each other,thus forming a narrative tension,which makes the novel have deep inner quality and Unlimited aesthetic charm.Part of the current research on Liu Zhenyun’s novels has already involved tension in the novel.This is a very enlightening point of view,but unfortunately it is often so far that the tension of the novel has not been discussed intensively.Therefore,it is necessary to study Liu Zhenyun’s novel from the perspective of tension.According to the current classification of Liu Zhenyun’s novels in the academic world,inspired by the existing research results,the article follows the creation process of Liu Zhenyun’s novels,with the new realistic novel "One Place Feathers",the new historical novel "Hometown Gets Around",the new century novel "One sentence top" "Ten Thousand Sentences" is the center,exploring individual alienation in new realistic novels,alternative realities in new historical novels,spiritual loneliness in new century novels from the perspective of context,narrative,and structure,and digging the tension connotation and tension in the novel effect.The "new realistic novel" represented by "Chicken in One Place" implicitly expresses sympathy for the state of alienation of the small person in verbal irony,detail irony,and situation irony in the objective zero-degree narrative;it is represented by "Hometown Getting Around" "New Historical Novels" used the ideological paradox,content paradox and value paradox to criticize historical inertial thinking through the criticism of power,and showed another true history that was outside the history book;The "New Century Novel" represented by Wanju uses the intertextuality to excavate people’s spiritual loneliness through the opposite structure and the cyclic structure,showing strong humanistic care.This series of irony,paradox,conflict,and even more contradictory and contradictory factors does not make the novel empty and obscure.This is because Liu Zhenyun combined comedy character and tragedy spirit with humor,and neutralized the critical edge and the criticism from a folk perspective.Humane care gives the work more metaphysical meaning and connotation.At the same time,these novels finally have a common direction: human survival.This will inevitably make Liu Zhenyun’s novel writing quite complicated,and the irony,paradox,conflict and organic unity contained in the tension are the appropriate entry points for studying Liu Zhenyun’s novels. |
