The Study Of The Relationship Between The Modeling And Ink Using In Lu Chen’s Realistic Ink Figure Paintings

At the beginning of the 20 th century,with the introduction of the scientific concept of surface-solid modeling from the west,traditional Chinese figure painting has been greatly impacted.Therefore,realistic ink figure painting,which reflects the real life and the genuine feelings of ordinary people,comes into being.Generations of artists have explored the future relationship between“the modeling of a figure” and “the language of the ink” in ink figure painting.As one of the outstanding representatives,Lu Chen has a unique understanding of the above-mentioned relationship.This thesis will analyze Lu Chen’s perceptions and practice of figure modeling and ink language in combination with the author’s personal learning experience.Then this thesis will summarize the Lu Chen’s artistic thoughts,which contributes to the author’s art creation.
