Research On Chen Hongshou's Modeling View Of Figure Painting

This thesis takes Chen Hongshou's works as the main object of study,and expounds the formation of Chen Hongshou's figure painting conception and its basic meaning from two aspects: his friendship and the pursuit of artistic ideals.The shape concept of figure painting is embodied in four aspects: modeling,lines,coloring,and composition.The shape features are exaggerated,quaint and strangely adorned,and they are extremely decorative.This unique view of styling is also formed under the conditions of subjective and objective.The styling conception of Chen Hongshou's figure painting has a far-reaching impact on later generations.He is highly praised by Yangzhou Eight Monsters,three seamen and modern contemporary figure painters.This dissertation mainly studies from five parts: The first part analyzes the introduction of Chen Hongshou's life and the formation of figure painting view;The second part discusses the shapes,lines,colors and compositions involved in the creation of traditional figure paintings.The four formal languages are used to study how Chen Hongshou's figure painting model view is presented.In the article,the shape and line characteristics of the early,middle and late periods are analyzed respectively,while the coloring and composition are performed at different levels.The third part is based on the second part to summarize and sort out the unique painting style features of Chen Hongshou's figure paintings;the fourth part is to analyze the trace of the formation view of Chen Hongshou's figure paintings,which are from the former,contemporary and folk.Subjective conditions and two objective conditions of the background of the late Ming Dynasty and Wang Yangming's psychology and their transmission were analyzed to analyze their causes.The fifth part is the study of the influence of Chen Hongshou's figure paintings on the Yangzhou Eight Monsters,the Three Seas,and the modern contemporary figure painters.Chen Hongshou's figure paintings are unique in the Ming Dynasty,not only because of his quirky and strange style of figure painting,but also because his works conform to the trend of the times.His unique styling concept not only had a profound influence on later generations,but also played an important role in promoting the development of traditional Chinese figure paintings.
