Ursula K.Le Guin(1929-2018)is a well-known American contemporary science-fiction writer.During her more than sixty-year creative career, she has presented many popular science-fiction works for the world, and has won many science-fiction awards, including the Nebula Award, the Hugo Award, the Track Award.Le Guin’s science-fiction is fluent and rich in meaning, she regards science fiction as a metaphor for reality and a base for various thought experiments, she expresses her concerns about many problems in real life by her works, and ecofeminism is an extremely important direction of exploration. The identity of female writers, the influence of family atmosphere, the impact of feminism, and the reality of the ecological deterioration since the last century make she gradually form the ecological feminist positions. In her works, she fully grasps the "skeptical" and "open-ended" characteristics of science fiction novels. On the one hand, she uses novels as "social mirrors",and uses the metaphorical projections of science fiction to project the logic of opposition and the hierarchical structure from rationalism and Western dualism, expresses the dissatisfaction with the oppression of women in the real world, the natural exploitation, the monolithic culture and the violent means prevailing behind it,which clearly shows the rebellion against masculinity and anthropocentrism;on the other hand,She makes full use of the imagination of science fiction, which is a fantasy genre, and attempts to build a harmonious symbiotic relationship from multiple dimensions,it includes men and women, involves the relationship between humans and nature, but also between multiple cultures, based on the appeal of ecological feminism in a carefully created possible world. This article combines several novels from different periods, such as Le Guin’s "The Left Hand of Darkness","The Dispossessed","Changing Planes","The Word for World is Forest" and "The Telling",to interpret Le Guin’s science fiction novels from the perspective of ecofeminism,in order to make a deeper exploration of her ecological thoughts and female thoughts based on existing research. The thesis consists of five parts. In the introductory part,I introduce the life and creation of Le Guin,in addition,I outline the formation and development of the theory of ecofeminism, and comb the research status of Le Guin at home and abroad, and on the basis of summarizing the existing research deficiencies, the research background and research significance of the thesis were elaborated. The first chapter focuses on Le Guin’s intention to build a harmonious relationship between men and women. After summarizing the actual experience,Le Guin revealed the passive fate of women through the work,at the same time,in order to reverse this dilemma, she also made active attempts in the work, which is mainly reflected in facing gender differences and promoting gender role adjustment. The second chapter focuses on the balanced development between human and nature that she seeks.Summarizing the dissatisfaction with the anthropocentric shown in Le Guin’s novel, and the two suggestions she gave when reconstructing the relationship between human and nature:one is to use science and technology reasonably, the other is to build Community of human and natural destiny. The third chapter focuses on how multiculturalism can achieve symbiosis,in her creation,Le Guin not only expressed his concern about monoculture, but also explored how to construct monoculture and maintain multicultural symbiosis. In the concluding part, reviewing the full text by summarizing the shortcomings, once again emphasizing the core proposition of Le Guin’s ecofeminism, between humans(especially males and females),humans and nature,we should face the differences and recognize "self" and "other",constructing a harmonious relationship based on the continuity of the and create a symbiotic space for multiculturalism.
