A Study Of Chinese Pronounciation Errors By Iranian Students

With the increasingly close exchanges and cooperation between China and Iran,more and more Iranian students are beginning to learn Chinese.However,since the phonetic elements of Persian and Chinese are completely different,it is difficult for Iranian students whose native language is Persian to grasp the accurate pronunciation of Chinese pronunciation,so the author decided to study the errors of Iranian students’ Chinese phonetic learning.Firstly,this paper mainly discusses the similarities and differences between Persian and Chinese,as well as their respective characteristics by contrastive analysis of the consonants,vowels,tone and intonation,syllables and syllable rules of the two languages.It predicts that the Chinese pronounciation errors of Iranian students mainly occur in the particular Chinese phonetic elements that are not in Persian language.Secondly,with the test results of fourty-five Iranian students reading Chinese phonetic elements,this paper confirms the prediction of the contrastive analysis between the two languages.Thirdly,this article further analyzes and explains the common Chinese pronounciation errors made by Iranian students when they learn the Chinese as a second language with Persian as native language.Finally,this paper gives specific pronounciation suggestions for Iranian students when acquiring the Chinese consonants,vowels and syllables in which errors easily occur.At present,there are few contrastive studies on Persian and Chinese.The author hopes that this article can help more Iranian students understand the Chinese phonetic rules,distinguish the differences between Persian and Chinese so as to master Chinese pronunciation well.At the same time,the author hopes to promote the exchanges and cooperation between China and Iran in the future.
