| With the promulgation and implementation of the comprehensive two-child policy, both the country and researchers have paid close attention to women’s family and employment issues.Existing research shows that the implementation of the comprehensive two-child policy has increased the family burden and employment pressure of women of childbearing age, making it difficult to choose between family and work.Previous studies on the relationship between women’s family and work have mostly explored the impact of female fertility and family responsibilities on their labor participation and professional development in the fields of sociology, economics, management, law, and so on,while investigating the family responsibilities of women of childbearing age from the perspective of psychology.Research on work-related psychological characteristics is rare. This study intends to investigate and research the current situation and relationship between family responsibility and professional values of women of childbearing age under the comprehensive two-child policy from a psychological perspective, with a view to achieving female family and work balance. It is also possible to provide reasonable suggestions for improving and supplementing the comprehensive two-child policy by understanding the psychological characteristics of women of childbearing age in treating family and work.Based on the literature analysis, this study first combined the results of an open questionnaire to construct a theoretical dimension of the family responsibility of women of childbearing age,and tested it in a group of women of childbearing age."Responsibility" preliminary test questionnaire, and through the test of its reliability and validity, form a formal questionnaire to provide research tools with good psychometric characteristics for subsequent research. Then, through self-made questionnaires, combined with the "Professional Values Questionnaire" to investigate women of childbearing age,to understand the current situation and characteristics of women’s family responsibilities, professional values and their characteristics under the current fertility policy. The predictive effect reveals the relationship between the two. Finally,an implicit association test of 2(family responsibility grouping: high grouping, lowgrouping)× 3(career value dimensions: intrinsic value, extrinsic value, family and life)was used to further explore the relationship between women’s family responsibility and implicit professional values in childbearing age.To complement the questionnaire research..Based on the above studies, the following results are obtained:(1)The sense of family responsibility of women of childbearing age has a multi-dimensional and multi-level structure, which specifically includes family responsibility cognition, family responsibility emotion, and family responsibility behavior.(2)The questionnaire of "Family Responsibility of Women of Childbearing Age" prepared by the questionnaire has good reliability and validity, and meets the psychometric standards.(3)Under the comprehensive two-child policy, women of childbearing age have a higher level of family responsibility, with the highest family responsibility emotions in all dimensions, followed by family responsibility cognition, and the lowest family responsibility behavior score. The age, education level, marital status, and children of women of childbearing age differ significantly in their sense of family responsibility. The factors that women of childbearing age value when choosing a job from high to low are the external value of the occupation, the internal value, family and life, low pressure, and social status. There are significant differences in career values among women of childbearing age in terms of age, education level, family residence, marital status, occupational status, nature of work unit, length of work, monthly income, and children.(4)Under the comprehensive two-child policy, there is a significant positive correlation between family responsibility and career values of women of childbearing age.Family responsibility has a significant positive predictive effect on all aspects of career values.Specifically, the prediction effect is from high to low in order.Family and life, external value, internal value, social status, and low pressure.(5)Women of childbearing age agree on the three dimensions of family and life, external value, and internal value of professional values on the implicit level. There is no significant difference in the level of family responsibility among implicit career values. |
