After the outbreak of the comprehensive anti-Japanese war,sufficient food supply became a material force to support protracted wars.Due to the influence of the war,the country’s food production suffered great damage.In order to ensure food supply,the National Government vigorously develops the rural economy in the rear provinces,supports agricultural production in various provinces,and increases food production.At the same time,Yunnan also faced severe food supply pressures due to the surge in population during the war and the logistical supply of the garrison.In order to protect the food supply for civilian use in Yunnan,Yunnan Province has established a number of professional institutions and adopted a series of measures to improve food production in order to increase food production To ensure supply.The work carried out covers all aspects of improvement of food crop varieties,development of agricultural science and technology,construction of farmland water conservancy,and development of rural economy.It is an important attempt in modern rural development and modernization of agriculture in Yunnan.Studying the improvement of Yunnan’s grain production during the war is of great significance for us to understand the development of Yunnan’s rural economy,the development of agricultural science and technology,and the production and supply of Yunnan’s grain during the war.Provide some useful inspiration and lessons.This article is divided into three parts: introduction,text and conclusion.The introduction mainly introduces the research questions raised in this article and the significance of the research.It also summarizes the current status of the research on the improvement of grain production in Yunnan Province during the period of the comprehensive anti-Japanese war and the research ideas,major difficulties and research methods of this article.The body part contains four chapters.The first chapter introduces the situation of agricultural production in Yunnan Province in the1930 s before the comprehensive anti-Japanese war.The second chapter mainly introduces the leading organizations for grain production improvement in Yunnan during the war.Funding sources,job responsibilities,etc.Chapter III introduces themeasures for improving grain production in Yunnan Province during the war.Chapter IV summarizes the effects of the measures and the effect of increasing grain production in the province during the war.The results of the province’s grain production improvement have analyzed the deficiencies and limitations in the work.During the war,Yunnan’s grain production improvement work increased the area of cultivated land in the province,improved the varieties of rice and wheat,improved the farmers’ economic conditions,and promoted the change of customs.The total grain output and the total area planted in the province in each year during the war were higher than before the war.With a significant increase,the effect of increasing grain production is significant.Therefore,the improvement of Yunnan’s grain production during the war achieved the direct purpose of increasing grain production,ensuring the food supply for military and civilian needs,and achieving good results.At the same time,there are also shortages of funds and chaotic management in the improvement of food production,which limits the depth of the improvement effect.
