A Study On Zhengxuan’s View Of Teaching In Shijing

Zheng Xuan was a master of Confucian classics at the end of the Eastern Han Dynasty.He was a master of Confucian classics in Han Dynasty.The biography of Mao poetry is Zheng Xuan’s annotation for Mao poetry.It is the representative achievement of Zheng Xuan’s study of the book of songs,and also a milestone in the history of the study of the book of songs in the Han Dynasty.It enjoys a high position in the history of the book of songs for more than two thousand years.The view of poetry teaching is an important content of Zheng Xuan’s book of songs.It is Zheng Xuan’s political position to express his aesthetic praise or ridicule by annotating the book of songs.It not only contains the trend of thought of the times,but also embodies Zheng Xuan’s political ideal and humanistic feelings.The object of his poetry education is very rich,from the emperor to the common people;its content involves all aspects of social life,such as labor,war,marriage and so on.Its purpose is to hope that the rulers can carry out benevolent government and realize the ideal of political clarity and people’s harmony.The main body of this paper is divided into four chapters:The first chapter expounds the background of the generation of the view of learni ng and teaching poetry in the book of songs by Zheng Xuan.This paper explores the i nternal and external factors that influence Zheng Xuan’s "view of poetry teaching" fro m the perspective of history and reality.The second chapter discusses Zheng Xuan’s "book of songs" which advocates the view of poetry education.This chapter focuses on Zheng Xuan’s praise of the empero r and the good officials and the filial sons and good women in the notes.In his notes,Zheng Xuan praised the emperor who had both ability and morality,attached great im portance to people’s livelihood and promoted social progress,praised the wise official s who shared their worries and were loyal to the emperor,and praised the people who knew the etiquette and justice.The third chapter discusses the view of poetry teaching in Zheng Xuan’s book of songs.This chapter focuses on the fatuous monarch,treacherous officials and people who do not abide by the rules and regulations.Zheng Xuan criticizes the people whodon’t pay attention to the people’s livelihood,the impotent officials,and the people wh o don’t obey the etiquette.The fourth chapter discusses the influence of Zheng Xuan’s "book of songs" on t he study of poetry and education.As a generation of academic masters,Zheng Xuan a nnotated the book of songs with the purpose of practical application of the world,eluc idated the meaning of the book of songs,and strengthened the function of poetry aesth etics,hoping to be beneficial to the society,which is the positive significance of Zhen g Xuan’s view of poetry teaching.However,its negative effect can not be ignored,am ong which the excessive exaggeration of loyalty and chastity is the shackle of human nature,even the shackle.In the later development,these thoughts were magnified by e conomists,and became the shackle that hindered the transition of society to moderniz ation.
