Mingwu is the load-bearing of the cultural spirit.As the most important part of Mingwu in The book of songs,animals could harmoniously get along with the original human,at the same time,it also contains the primitive culture, puts up the spirit of the times,and it’s a clear manifestation of the people’s emotion. This article,named Animals research of Mingwu in The book of songs,will carry on the elaboration from three aspects to the culture of animal.Firstly,the article gives a brief talk on the influence of the geographical environment,cultural background, and the environment of production and living.Meanwhile,through systemic analysis of the information, the thesis lists 180 poems about animals in the appendix.Secondly,the animals of Shijing,as a cultural carrier,accepted a large number of primitive culture. On the basis of cultural stability, the writing,for the center to the bird totem of Shaohao,phoenix,dragon and kylin, carries out a detailed interpretation for the culture.Thirdly, taking the animals as the center of the research,the article probe deeply into the spirit of Zhou dynasty and the aesthetic characteristics in Shijing.what the spirit of the age reflected are Li Yue culture,The warrior heritage,Agricultural spirit and The spirit of struggle.It’s also stated from four aspects to expound the aesthetic characteristics, there are plain,smart,veiled and artistic.Only on a comprehensive grasp of animals in Shijing, can we deeply understand the emotions and thoughts of ancestors.
